Hey girls just wondering where is everyone on baby's movement? Mine Is still not active at all just flutters on ocassion. I find it hard not to go to doctor between appointments. I thought after your first pregnancy movement gets easier to feel sooner, but by this point I was feeling some stronger little nudges with last pregnancy. Anyone feeling distinct movement yet? I am 17 weeks and about 4 days now I have u/s appointment on tuesday, but I am finding it difficult to wait that long to make sure everything is ok. I looked back in my pregnancy diary with son and I was defently feeling more at this stage in pregnancy. Anyone having the same concerns??

I know they say you feel more with subsequent pgcys, but I just haven't found that to be the case. My first DD was way more active and I felt everything much stronger than either of these two. With my second I thought is was because of anterior placenta, but this one is posterior and it just isn't as strong. I think everything got stretched out the first time and there is just much more give so the movements are much subtler. I'm 20w4d and it is only in the last week or so that I'm feeling daily movements. And even those aren't all day and still feel more like wiggles than real kicks.

Hey there, I haven't felt as much either. It started off frequent but now it's so inconsistent. My NMW told me that even at 20 weeks it won't be consistent yet. I thought I was the only one, and am REALLY GLAD you posted this. Thanks!
I think I felt more with my other angel.

Glad to hear I am not alone. I feel alot better knowing others are expereincing the same as me. At first they were more frequent but now they are just now and then.

I'm not sure I even feel anything yet. I thought I did but it hasn't been consistent or even very hard to determine what exactly it is. I can't wait to start feeling it.

I'm going on 19wks (this coming wk) and although I *think* I've felt something that feels like popcorn every so often if I'm paying attention, I just can't bring myself to completely believe it's the baby or gas?
I still have almost 2wks to wait for my u/s and that's driving me crazy.

I am feeling movement, but it was @ the 18 wk mark that I started feeling it more. They are not the "big" kicks yet. I've asked dh to feel my belly when I am feeling the movement, and he can't feel it yet either. It is still not consistant. Only every once in a while. My doc said 21-22 wks is when you should feel the baby consistantly.

I feel movement on a regular basis. Not all the time, but enough to say several times each day. The baby was extremely active at the u/s, so I guess it just totally depends on the baby. The position of the placenta does make a difference too, I agree with Marya. My placenta is mostly on the right and I feel the baby on the left all the time. I'm looking forward to the time when DH and the girls can feel the movement.

Hi Ladies
I am pregnant with twins and am 18wks6days. I haven't felt any movement....or at least that I am aware of. I get nervous too but my doctor tells me it can happen anywhere between 17-21 weeks. Baby A is very, very active in our u/s and Baby B is always sleeping or just hanging out. But I am dying to feel them!!
