jenbethk beta #10.... concerned about beta

Hi Girls.

My beta went up, but it didn't double, which has me worried. It went from 1,016 to 1,619. I thought that it has to double in 48-72 hours. Do you girls think this is still ok? I know I saw the sac this morning on u/s, but now I'm really stressed again and won't see the RE again until Monday!

Any thoughts would be appreciated!!!

Thanks so much,
Jen

Hi Jen, I think it's still great that your betas are going up so much!! And, at this point, the u/s is more important! They do double slower after 1000. Mine slowed down, and was not 48 hrs.

Your doubling time is 71 hrs, right under the "should" catagory, and we know there are plently of people who's betas are even slower that have made it.

Hang in there. Keep thinking positive thoughts. I sure am!! Sorry you are on such a roller coaster. I'm really hoping it will all be worth it!!!

xoxoScout

Thanks Scout! It really helps to know that your betas started doubling slower as well! And the 48-72 hrs. was just what I thought, not what I was told. I need to correct that. So Mod-Diana pointed out that after 1200 they double in 72-96 hrs. So I feel better knowing that for sure!!

I wish I could relax. This has been 2 weeks of this stress!!! I don't want to hurt the baby and I will TRY to relax!!

Thanks so much! Jen

Thanks Lisa. I really appreciate the support!! I feel so drained and can't figure out if it's from this emotional rollercoaster, from being pg, or both!!!!

Hoping for a good sized sac with a yolk for Monday!!! I think that would be a reasonable request by then!!??!!

Jen

By the way, good luck with u/s #2 tomorrow!!!!!!

I was going to say what scout did -- doubling times slow around 1000. Try to just relax and enjoy your weekend. I hope you have a great u/s on monday!

You are in my thoughts too. It's normal to be scared....
I will be thinking thoughts of you, in the meantime be good to yourself and your peanut.

Your beta's are still going up !!!!! So hang in there I'm suprised your RE is still doing them. Maybe for peace of mind you should stop doing them because your going to drive yourself crazy. I will keep my fingers crossed for great US results on Monday. My first US is Wed. 3/2 can't wait !!!!
