Fever w/ no other symptoms...

Hannah has had a fever with no other symptoms for a day. It started with a temp. of 100 and decreased eating. So I gave her Tylenol and she acted like her normal self sans the eating. Well, she "sun downed" and got worse last night. She came into our room at 4 AM feeling badly and crawled into bed with me. She was burning up. I took her temp. and it was 102.9. Still no other obvious symptoms to me. No coughing, running nose, etc. She drank some juice and I gave her Motrin. She slept in the crook of my arm all night. Shes never done that. Usually she settles in after a few hours and then wants her own bed. Not last night. For now the temp. is under control but I don't know if that's due to the Motrin or if the fever has broken. She still isn't eating but she's still drinking so I'm fine with that.

Isn't that odd?

How weird. I do hope she is feeling better, or the temp hasn't come back. Maybe it's just some fluke virus, or maybe she started to get rundown with your move and her body was working to fight it.

The fever is still hanging around and still spiking at night. Early this morning it hit 103.6. Still no outward symptoms. Still hardly no eating but she's still drinking her chocolate milk and Gatorade. If she's not over the fever by Monday morning we'll be off to the dr.

Not odd. The pedi told me that viruses will cause kids bodies to fever in the evenings while the kids may seem fine during the day. Ben had the same thing a while back. Fever in the evenings and gone during the day with no appetite. She just has a virus I guess. Ben's lasted a few days so she may still be not feeling so well for a couple days.

Looks like the fever finally broke around midnight last night. Now we wait and see if she's all better or if she develops a rash like Roseola or something. She still isn't very hungry, but I'm just glad after 3 1/2 days this fever seems gone.
