I just got an email from my DD and DS primary nurse (when they were in the NICU... yes we formed a good bond that has lasted through 2 children. ) that she can't watch my son on Monday when I go to the RE consult. The only other person that I think would watch him is the Pastor's wife (Lutheran church... I go to 2 churches regularly). The problem with this is Monday is the Pastor's ONLY day off during the week. So I feel bad asking them to watch him on his day off (she isn't working right now). Not to mention it is at least 1 hour drive from their house to my RE in the best of times and my appointment is at 5 pm so I have to deal with rush hour, both ways. If that were not enough Max will have his 1 year check up that day (12:30) and will get his injections for whatever they do at 1 year (I think it is the MMR with chicken pox, the flu shot and who knows what else) so that sort of complicates things too (hense me wanting to get a nurse to watch him). We can take him with us, and he would likely do well as he is an easy going kid generally speaking. I just don't know though.
I could maybe ask a "grandparent" (I was baptized in the Lutheran church and the congregation is "aging" so I have lots of "east coast grandparents" ) to watch him but I wouldn't want to insult the pastor's wife either.
What would you do? Oh and BTW the Pastor's wife was going to watch him tomorrow when the appointment was tomorrow before it got moved (RE moved my appointment due to a procedure). She said she would watch him on Monday but I know she tends to be the type of person that will go out of her way to help someone and I don't want to take advantage of that.... and she is about 31 weeks pregnant right now (this will be their second child).
If you were in my shoes what would you do?

Celebrating 17 yrs of marriage!!!

) So he thinks that I may be able to cycle sometime in January... though if my cycles are begining of the month to end of month, then I will likely have to wait till February... at least that would be my guess. Again though this is questions for the IVF cordinator.
Oh well. I am really enjoying my son right now and he makes all better.
And realistically the longer I have to wait the more "healed" I will be from the c-section and that is good all the way around.
