Beautiful pics!

Don't even get me started on our pics! DISASTER! I dressed the kids up yesterday in their holiday outfits and they looked so adorable. The plan was to get a cute picture for our cards of them together. Cole was happy as could be and very cooperative. Kendra was a maniac! All she wanted to do was twirl around in her dress and tap dance on the wood floors in her new dress shoes. She did not want to sit still. Lesson learned that it is much easier to photograph a 2.5 month old than a 22 month old! I hope to try again later this weekend but I don't know what I will do about our cards if I can't get a good pic!

kmsnj- That sounded just like the disaster at our house yesterday!!!! I had them in matching outfits and they looked so cute, but my older ds would have no part in it. He threw a fit, ended up in time out, and by the time he was acting good Collins threw a fit!!! By the way this is after two failed attempts by a professional photographer. lets just say- I am over it!!

Those pictures are terrific! Your children are all beautiful!

We still haven't managed to take pictures yet. It seems like it's impossible to have both girls looking presentable at the same time. They have both had pinkeye (although it was a couple of weeks apart rather than one right after the other), the baby had baby acne/seborrhea, and the oldest has had a runny nose for about a month. The _moment_ they both look all right at the same time I am putting them in their Christmas outfits and taking pictures!

Sounds like several of you are having some rough times with pictures. Been there, done that!! I tried to do pictures myself when the boys were 2 and it was a disaster!! I wanted to get pictures while we were playing in the snow. Then, they built a snowman with dh so I thought I'd put them in front of it and get pictures Yeah, right!!! C was pretty good with it but P was horrid!! I gave up and right before Christmas I snapped an adorable picture of them cuddling in our bed one early morning and ended up using that.
Heck, get a picture of them sleeping together and put something like "Hope you have a silent night..." on the card!

Good to know that I am not the only one with a toddler that is uncooperative come picture time! I decided to get over it. I went through the pics and chose the best of the worst. DD's lovey is covering her mouth (yes, including the lovey was a blatant attempt at bribing her), but whatever! At least Cole looks cute! And it is much better than going through the stress of trying to do it again.

Those are awesome pictures! You have a beautiful family. I am going to try to take my own pics for the card, but we will see what happens. Olivia doesn't want too much to do with the new additions and I don't think I can get them in close proximity of her. I also don't know what I am going to do for my Christmas cards if I can't snap something together.

I think I might try all of them in bed together. Olivia loves to be in our bed, so maybe it won't be so bad to have the babies next to her for a minute or too....

We decided to do a Nativity themed card. I dressed Ethan up like Joseph. Ella like Mary and Matthew like Baby Jesus. Before we took the picture I was talking to Ethan and Ella about the Christmas story from one of their books. Now when they see Baby Jesus in it they call him Baby Matthew!! Whoops!

Teppie, what a cute idea! Love the picture!!

Hey, I have another idea for those that are having problems getting all of the kids together...why not make your cards on snapfish or something like that that lets you use more than one picture? You could make a collage type on with individual pictures of the kids!
