What time of day for a 2yo birthday party?

Since this'll be my first attempt at a 2 year old birthday party, what time is a good time? His afternoon nap is all over the place...sometimes it's at 11:30, sometimes it's at 2 if he has a mini nap in the morning...daycar eit's always at 1...

Any ideas for your own parties?

We haven't had too many parties. Kyler's 2nd b-day party was at Gymboree and I think we had it in the morning.

I've found for my kids, naps are screwy on birthday party days anyway because of all the excitement. Probably the best for us would be to get the nap in BEFORE the party so that the excitement hasn't happened yet...so a later party would be better...like 4:00. But, we probably just won't worry about it and will do it at 1 or 2.
