And so far, she's doing GREAT! I have had to go in and sit beside her bed several nights, just until she settled down and got good and sleepy. And there has been one night and two naps that she has fallen asleep in front of the door or on the floor somewhere. For her nap, I just leave her there (is that bad?) because I don't want to wake her. But last night when she fell asleep in front of the door looking under it, I nudged her back and put her in her bed without waking her. I can't believe she is such a big girl!! Once I get her room painted and finished, I'll take a pic of her big girl bed. We aren't using a pillow yet, but she LOVES sleeping with as many baby dolls as she can fit in there with her!![]()

She's growing up too fast! Jacob is still in a crib. I'm not in a hurry to move him. I like him being contained. LOL! Seriously, when we move him, I think we will move him into the room with his big brothers and we'll have a "sleep" room and a "play" room. It will be another year though I'm sure!

Oh I was SO planning to keep her in there till after her third birthday. But that fall REALLY scared the crap outta me! I wouldn't have been able to stand it if she did it again and really got hurt. I would've felt SO bad! So we moved EVERYTHING out of her room...and I do mean EVERYTHING, and child proofed as much as possible so that she can't get hurt in there by herself. All that is in there is her little bed and a set of plastic drawers to put her babies in and to set her monitor on top of so she doesn't mess with it. The first few nights, she was turning the monitor off as soon as we walked out! Since we got the plastic thing, she hasn't touched it. We even replaced her blinds with a shade so there's nothing to get tangled up in. We did the same with my DS's room (had to move him around 20 months because we needed the crib for Cheyenne and he was trying to climb out anyway). I'm just glad she's doing so well with it!

I remember her fall now, and I don't blame you.
We moved Kyler to a twin bed when he was 20 months too because we needed the crib for Kaden. And Kaden was just 2 when we moved him to a trundle bed because of Jacob! So, really, we probably aren't too far away from moving Jacob to a big bed now that I think about it.

Great to hear that she is handling the transition well. We aren't about to change to beds any time soon. I have heard from too many mom's of twins that they lose nap time when the cribs go. J might be OK with it, but I'm pretty sure M would be constantly out of his bed and playing.

Oh that would be SO hard with twins. I can't even imagine. We have had several more nights/naps of falling asleep while looking under the door. Poor girl. She doesn't seem to mind though...doesn't cry or anything most of the time. When she cries more than just a little, one of us goes in and lays down beside her bed. I'm just happy I don't have to worry about falls anymore...that was never-racking.
