Can't walk without falling anymore

Well, my little dude just got a whole lot clumsier. These last few days, he keeps falling - on his hands, on his head, bumping into everything. Either he's in a growth spurt, or his shoes don't fit, or something is up. Anybody else going through this???

Hmm...maybe check the shoes. Or maybe he is just trying to go faster these days and that is causing clumsiness? Who knows! These kids do some strange things sometimes, and it's hard to tell why!

Well, we went out last night and bought him his very first pair of shoes!!! Got Geox ones, since there weren't any stride rites available. He spent about an hour clomping all over the ceramic tile in our house.

Funny, while choosing shoes, he was really gung-ho on certain ones, and the others wouldn't let us try them on him, screaming his head off. Guess he's got opinions no fashion already!

Hopefully he'll wear the shoes a few times before he outgrows them!!! We bought him a 6.5, as he measured a 6, so there's a bit of room to grow. Also got him a new pair of Robeez 18-24 which are too big, but I think the 12-18 Lil Jos we have he's outgrowing (that, and they're so slippery now, maybe that's why he's falling all over).

Happy to report that he didn't fall once with his new shoes inside the house - but when we took him outside in his snowsuit and the new shoes, then he kept falling, lol. Kept wanting to play with the velcro!

Cute! Cheyenne totally has fashion preferences already. She LOVES dresses and cutesie clothes. If I don't fold our laundry up right away, I will undoubtedly see her somewhere trying to put a dress or a cute shirt or something on. Oh, and she LOVES shoes...all of them. I have a feeling I'm gonna be in trouble! Although she does have a favorite pair of croc-alikes. They're hot pink and have a teddy bear shape on them on the holes in the front. I had her in a really cute black and white outfit, and she threw a fit and HAD to wear her hot pink shoes with it...so I let her.

Hope you get some good use out of the new shoes!
