Anyone out there with a November 2012 due date? My due date is Nov 2nd. It's my 2nd pregnancy, 1st ended in miscarriage last year, so we are taking it a day at a time. Would love to meet other ladies out there who are at the same point in their pregnancy! I am 7w2d now.

Hi Christine,
We're due on the 2nd as well.
It's our second pregnancy too. Our first ended in the stillbirth of our son, Thomas, at 20 weeks. Obviously, we're both hyperaware of every single twinge...
But, so far...our little Nio ('Nine' in Swedish as this was our 9th transfer - Thomas was called 'Four' for ages *LOL*) is doing absolutely great!
I just went to have a look at your blog and...wow.
The morning after our first ultrasound (the 14th), El woke up at 3 am with a fair amount of blood. We both freaked out...
We went into the EPAS clinic when it opened and the midwife sent us for another ultrasound. Little Nio was still there, and the heartrate had increased by 35 beats. Everything looks really good. Turns out, El has an SCH and they measured the volume as .6mls and said to expect some bleeding over the next few days.
Scary, scary, scary...but, so wonderful to see the heartbeat again!Last edited by kris73; 03-18-2012 at 07:03 PM. Reason: Just letting Christine know that we had a similar issue :)

Hi Kris! Congrats to you and El! I'm so sorry about your loss. We'll support each other through this exciting and a bit nervous time.
I think it's interesting that they were able to measure the volume of the SCH. They didn't tell me anything about mine, except that it was "stable". Do you have another U/S coming up? I have my last one with my RE on Friday and if all goes well, I'll graduate to a regular OB (which I haven't yet found; can't think that far ahead!).

Thank you! And congratulations to you and hubby too!!

We have our first appointment with the OB on the 29th (he starts seeing patients from 8 weeks). Due to our history, we'll be considered high risk and he'll be monitoring us closely.
Luckily, he has an ultrasound in his rooms...so, we'll have scans with each appointment.
We've also gone ahead and scheduled our nuchal scan. We weren't planning to, but when we were at the EPAS clinic last week, the midwife asked us if we'd want to participate in a "nuchal study". Basically, they're trying to determine if certain problems can be found with the 12 week scan instead of waiting for the 19 week scan...things like PAPP-A and such. Because we're participating in the study, we get our nuchal scan for free.
That's scheduled for the 19th of April...which seems so far, yet so close...*LOL*

Thank you Kris! Yes, things are going great. We had an u/s yesterday and our little bean is growing and measuring slightly ahead. HR is great at 178bpm (girl?) They graduated us from the clinic, we are officially on our own now. I'm looking for an OB. It is finally starting to sink in...a little. How are you two doing?

Oh, that's great!
I haven't read much about the heart rate signifying gender. I can't remember what Thomas' heartrates were at the same stages.
To be honest, after what we've been through...we just want a healthy baby and a healthy El.
We're doing good...just waiting for the OB appointment. Four days to go and I think we just both want to see Nio again.
Pregnancy sickness has finally hit. She's been nauseous for a couple of weeks now...last night was the first night of vomiting. We'll be at the 'can't eat anything after 6pm' stage in a couple of days, I guess.
I feel bad for feeling happy about it. *LOL*

Not to hijack your thread, but there are a couple of threads for ladies who were successful in February (as you were) and/or who are expecting in the fall (as you are) over on the:
Pregnancy After Infertility
boards. I hope to see you there

BC-Impatient_In_VA - Thanks so much for letting us know about the other thread! Honestly, I was wondering where everyone was! I couldn't believe there wasn't already a thread here in the "Due Date Clubs", so I created one, but I'm glad there's already a very active thread going on over there. I will come over and join that one.
Kris - I'm sorry to hear that El is so nauseous. I hope she feels better soon! I only get nauseous now and then and it's not so bad to make me vomit. And about the HB thing - it's something that I've only heard about, but naturally don't count on. I of course just want a healthy baby no matter the gender, but I have to admit, I'm starting to get really curious! Glad to hear that you'll see your little Nio soon!
I hope to see you on the other thread - here's a link... February 2012 Cycle Grads.
