I notice that more and more I have less time, effort and inclination to place makeup. I used to love playing with colors and would change my makeup often but ever since Steve's arrival I don't remember the last time I updated my stuff. I was thinking about this yesterday while getting ready to meet up with some friends for lunch. We were running out of time and I was deciding whether to place makeup or not. I decided on just using an eyeliner and a bit of lipstick. Honestly, I always seem to not have enough time to fix myself!

I completely understand that. I haven't bought any good make up since Baden was born. I wear MAC and Estee Lauder, both are pricey, but well worth the money. Before kids, I remember thinking nothing of dropping $100 on new eyeshadow, blush or lipgloss when MAC came out with their new lines.
My make up used to take me 20-30 minutes to do, now I have it down to 5 minutes. It's pointless to wear it when I'm at home with the kids and when I go to work, I really don't care how much I have on because I sit in a cubicle and no one sees me anyway.
The other day Baden got a hold of one of my eyeshadows and I freaked out because I can just see him digging out all the eyeshadow, which would make Mommy very very angry!!Tiffany (36) DH (44)

I've been the same forever. I like the natural look I guess. I do shower & wear makeup everyday. It takes me 5 min. for makeup. Most people can't tell I'm wearing it though. I only do lipstick & shadow when I go out at night. Which isn't very often.
