Fast Flow - Bottle Nipple?

Ok - So I need to buy Logan new bottles - he is growing out of the 4oz bottles so I was going to get some larger ones (we use the drop ins).

BUT - Do I get the fast flow or slow flow (like he has now).
He is still bfing a couple times a day and I would like him to nurse 1-2 times a day until he is one year....do I switch to the fast flow or will that make him only want bottles??? Or does this matter at 6montns??

I really dont know about the BF and switch to bottle, since ds has always had the bottle. But, we switched to the fast flow around 3 months (Playtax drop ins) and he drinks so much faster and easier. My hands and arms used to go numbed from holding the bottle for him with the slow flow.

**barge**

My little guy is on the Born Free bottles and I've been using the ones that came with the bottles. They just said 0+ months. Yesterday, I bought the 6+ months ones and he hates them. They are a fast flow with a Y cut in the nipple. Unfortunately, the instructions and types of nipples are inside the stupid plastic closed package and you cannot read it until you open it. If I had known, I might have gone for the med. flow as the one that I bought is for thicker formulas and Kyle is on Similac Sensitive and it's really watery like. Oh well, $8 down the drain. I'm just going to keep him on the nipples that he likes as he doesn't seem to have problems with them.

My DD hates the fast flows, she gags and spits a ton on them. We use the Avent regular and drop ins and use the slow flow but I added an extra hole (small) instead of buying the med flow nipples, works just as well...

I think that's what I may do, just add another small hole because Kyle hates the fast flow as well. He will take a sip and then take it out and look at it as if to say "what the heck mom?" LOL!
