How Many Weeks Is He/she? [B] He is almost 3 months, he will be 3M in 4 days.
Height/weight At Birth And Now? He weighted 6.6 Lb & 19.5" at birth. He was 11 Lbs 10 oz and 23.5" at 2 months check up, we have not weight him yet. I think he is 12.5-13.0 Lbs. now.
Diaper Type And Size? We buy the pampers swaddles in size 1 and also the Costco brand in size 1/2.
Has Your Baby Slept Through The Night? [B] NEVER. I am so looking forward to that day/night. He is like a clock, he wakes up exactly at midnight, 3:30 AM and 6:30 AM.
What Songs Do You Sing For The Baby The Most? [B]Patty cake, ABC sounds and a song that we made up that rhymes with his name.
How Many Oz Is He/She Eating? I just increased today to 5 OZ. He has been eating 4.5 oz, he eats the whole bottle plus the air.
What Do You Do To Calm Your Baby When They Get Fussy & Start Crying? I have to pick him up and bounce him up and down, talk or SHHHHH to him. Putting him in front of the mirror sometimes works. He likes to look at himself and I make funny faces at him.
Do You Pick Up Baby Or Attend To Him As Soon As He Starts To Cry? I usually do attend to him within a minute, because if I dont, his cries will become screams and will then be really hard to calm down.
Do you do any tummy time? How long and how many times per day? usually once or twice per day. I put a rolled up towel under his chest and have a mirror that makes lots of music in front of him and also use a rattle. He is able to keep his head up really well, but has not tried to push himself up or roll over.
Babies Milestones & Developments? He looks at me alot and waits for me to make funny faces for him so he can laugh. He smiles a lot. And recently started to follow DH & I with his eyes when we walk across the room. He likes to sit a lot. So we took out his Bumbo. He sits in the Bumbo on the couch next to us and watches TV.
What Are You Doing For "me" Time? I dont have much of a "me" time, but sometimes DH watches him and I can go shopping. But I always end up buying stuff for the baby and not myself. And recently when the baby has been sleeping, I have been painting our bathroom wall (Bellagio faux).
Anything Else About Baby And Your Life? I do not have much of a life anymore. DH & I have not been able to go out to lunch or dinner together since the baby. I miss being able to just get up and go out with DH. We cant take the baby to any restaurants, because he just cries the entire time and everyone just stares at us. Too embarrassing.
Include A Recent Picture Of Him/Her: I will post a picture later, cause I have not had time to download to photobucket yet!Last edited by slowmotion; 01-24-2009 at 09:55 PM.

How Many Weeks Is He/she? almost 12w
Height/weight At Birth And Now? 8lbs 19" at birth ...at 9w appt, she was 11.9lbs and 23"
Diaper Type And Size? Pampers Sensitive size 1-2 (Bj's boxes go midsize)
Has Your Baby Slept Through The Night? yes, for a good while now
What Songs Do You Sing For The Baby The Most? Hush Little Baby, Arms Wide Open and I Knew I Loved You Before I Met You
How Many Oz Is He/She Eating? between 6oz and 7oz
What Do You Do To Calm Your Baby When They Get Fussy & Start Crying? tap her bum and rub a fingertip on her forehead (always a surefire put-them-to-sleep trick for all my kids)
Do You Pick Up Baby Or Attend To Him As Soon As He Starts To Cry? depends on the type of cry...if its one that I know is going to turn to panic wails, I get her, but if its a fuss cry I give her time to self soothe
Do you do any tummy time? How long and how many times per day? we do, but I dont time it, she has pretty good neck control and likes being on her tummy
Babies Milestones & Developments? great neck control, sleeping through the night, smiling alot, cooing, responding to particular voices (always smiles when she hears her brothers coming)
What Are You Doing For "me" Time? I have a weekly girls breakfast (though dd comes with) and shopping after...I go back to work on Feb 2nd and looking forward to that (I work nights)
Anything Else About Baby And Your Life? Annabella has fit perfectly into our lives. She is a "go anywhere" kind of baby and falls asleep in that carrier alot. She comes with us almost everywhere (except for hockey games, too cold at the rink) and is a social butterfly (smiling and cooing alot).

MareRI-I am so jealous that your daughter sleeps through the night and you can just take her everywhere with you!!!! LOL. So, what is this fingertip rubbing on the forehead? Ive never heard that before. Is it your fingertip or the babies fingertip? and do you do it, while she is crying?

The fingertip trick is something that my pedi taught me, and then we actually saw in a book (i think the title was something like 100 ways to get your baby to sleep)...I take the tip of my index finger and just rub her forehead, around her hairline, in slow swirls. I do it very slowly and gently sometimes I make a low, quiet "shhh" sound. I do it while she is crying or if she is fighting going to sleep. Its like a little relaxation thing, I've been doing since my 1st was a baby and it worked like a charm. If they are crying and worked up, it takes a minute or two to work but if they are just quiet or even a little fussy, they seem to go to sleep pretty quickly...their eyes do that little flutter, and then out they go.
She has been really good about sleeping through, last night she went down at 10PM and woke up this AM at 830. Most nights she goes down around 930-10 and will sleep til 730-8AM if we let her (during the week I have to wake her around 630-7AM to get her ready and fed before I have to get the boys going for school).
As for taking her everywhere, yes she is like my oldest, he was like that too, the 'go anywhere' baby. My 2nd, not so much...he was refluxer and hated his car seat so he would scream and cry, DH usually had to step out of wherever we were to calm/quiet him while my oldest was fine...she is like that, she is just mellow in her car seat, content to look around plus her brothers fawn all over her the second she makes a peep (she has them wrapped!)...
It will get easier. I know in the beginning its tough when it seems like your baby wont quiet or settle...when Luke was like that, I felt like the worst mom ever...but once we got into a rhythm (it took a while) and his belly felt better, he was fine. I joke with him that he was my hardest baby but is my easiest kid (he really is now) and that Andrew was my easiest baby but my hardest kid (he is stubborn and is sooo like me that we butt heads alot).
You have to post pics of your little man soon...Maryanne

I'm very jealous as well. Kyle will be 5 mths tomorrow and he still doesn't sleep through the night. At this point, I can barely get him down at all and he won't sleep in his crib. He can be sound asleep in his chair or after rocking and as soon as you lay him in the crib, "bang" he's wide awake screaming his head off and when he does finally go down, he'll only sleep for a couple of hours at the most. He's up 2 or 3 times a night. Plus, I still can't go very far with him in the car seat unless DH or one of the kids is with me. He still hates it.
My oldest DS wasn't a great sleeper either but I don't remember it being this bad and my DD was like your DD Mare, she was an absolute angel and sleeping through the night from about 4 weeks old and you could take her anywhere.
Everyone keeps saying that it'll get better and I thought it would but now, I just don't know and I'm out of ideas.Me 42/DH 43

Sherb-I was really hoping that he would get better and be able to sleep longer by the time he is 4 months, but your not giving me any hope. I really dont mind the feedings at nights, but I just cant stand all his crying and screaming. I wish babies could learn to speak sooner so they can tell us what is wrong.
Here are a few recent pictures of him. He has just learned to push his pacifier out and put his entire fist in his mouth. So, I have to constantly clean and wash his yucky hands.

Slowmotion-AWWW, he is so cute. I love his eyelashes and chubby cheeks!
Riley also puts his fists in his mouth all the time and has been fussy lately. I wonder if it is a sign of teething. I read babies can start teething at 3 mths.Kris (35) DH (39) dx: male factor

He's beautiful slowmotion. Kyle has been shoving both of his hands into his mouth for about 1 1/2 mths now and he just goes crazy. Mind you, everything that he gets goes into his mouth these days. LOL! He is definitely teething because as soon as I give him some orajel, he quiets down right away.
