Hi everyone,
DH and I just moved to Okinawa and are TTC. DH has been tested and SA showed low count and motility, since he had cancer and chemo 15 years ago. I am still being tested. So far we've been referred to the Lester OB/GYN clinic, but may have to go off base for fertility treatment. Is anyone out there experiencing fertility issues in Okinawa, and have any helpful hints about the treatment facilities here?

I was previously in Oki. We were still trying and not looking into fertility treatment options. But a friend of mine recently had a sucessful IUI done out in town. It took 4 tries. They had no real fertility issues other than her age (41). She said that the military didn't cover the expenses, but it was pretty reasonable compared to civilian facilites in the U.S. I think she said she went to 7th Day Adventist hospital. They do take BC/BS if you have civilian insurance.
