Hi, everyone. Thank you for the good thoughts & warm wishes. I had hoped to be able to update daily but both the Navy Lodge & Air Force Base Inn here in DC only have net access in the rooms if you have dial up at home & of course I've been cable modem for a few years now. Anyway, the OHSS is in my opinion mild & I didn't even realise I had it since I had no real symptoms except for some nausea & feeling severly dehydrated no matter how much water I drank but 3 different drs & 2 of the nurses all said I have it due to my labs, etc. So I've been drinking as much Gatorade as I can stand in a day & water for the rest of the day. Didn't get an update on the embies today but wasn't really expecting WR to give one so hopefully all is weel with all 4 of them & they are growing nicely. DH really doesn't want to chance more than twins so unless they are all poor grade we'll only transfer 2 embies tomorrow. I'd love to have soem to freeze also but we'll just have to wait & see what happens over the next several days.
Again, I promise to sit down & post to everyone when I'm back home (on bedrest) Friday.
    Me (36) & DH (36) Married 15.5 yrs
9 Dx: Hydros (removed 6/14/06) & Prothrombin mutation

so i had my appointment yesterday. Bad news.17mmfollie.
    I am to cont' bcp.
This seems like long time for bcp.(have been on them 6 weeks already)
I have done my readings and do understand why you cannot stim with a follie that big.
I was disappointed again. Does anyone have any thoughts on this????
I swear I was shocked once again and cannot ask the right questions. I did ask for a stronger bcp. But I am still taking the same ones.
My next appointment is dec 11.for another us.
I was told I may need to take lupron instead. (nice, since I bought and paid for centrotide already!$225.00) I think I may have to switch gears to do the lupron. Anyone with the # to pharmacy at Wh in San Antonio? I could drive down to get the meds if I can get a pres. filled there.

Again, any thoughts on the questions I should have asked?? It is soo out of my nature to let this slide by so easily but i feel very tired. Can't laugh or cry bout this.My reaction is more of nothing.
I am having a cocktail tonight gals.

On the good news side- MY DH will be home in 21 days.
Looks like I won't have to be shooting myself with needles afterall.
Maybe my body(or the man upstairs) knows what it is doing.

    Hey there,
Hang in there----I know you must get tired of hearing those words, but like you said "the man upstairs knows what's best", who knows maybe everything will come into cosmic view when DH gets home, which is great news. As far as the Lupron, I know the MFT down here didn't carry it so I had to mail my rx to Expresscripts (military mail order pharmacy) in AZ which took about 1-1 1/2 weeks to get and it was a $3 copay. So if your going OON and than yeah it might cost ya a little...

Second, that Aubie...We're all rooting for ya ...Hey did the doctors discuss a maximum that they would xfr based on age or anything? Dr. Laufer, down here from what I was told by my IVF coordinator said because I'm so young that he will only xfr 2, 3 if he's in a good mood and 4 would be pushing it...But I figure paying $4660 I better get what I want out of this as long as its reasonable, which I'm shooting for 4. I would love to have 6 et but I know the risk are great on that number. We shall see though.

Hi there! I was on the pill for 3 full packs (minus the placebos) so that is about 9 weeks. We did that plus the lupron for a good length of time. I was worried about being on the pill so long, but in the long run I was glad I was!

Hi Ladies! I have posted on this board before but never on the weekly update thread. I have been trying to get into Walter Reed for a while now. Today I finally got an orientation date, for next Tues! I am so excited! I finally feel as if the ball is starting to roll. I am REALLY hoping that I can get into the Jan/Feb cycle. Wish me luck!
