Hey Mikki,
Thanks for starting a new thread!!! You did a great job!!!! How have you been??
AFM, things are great. Dh has been on vacation last week and for the upcoming week. It has been so nice having our family together and so nice being able to go places and really enjoy it, without the stress of trying to keep up with two 2 1/2 year olds by myself. We went to an aquarium last week and we are going to the zoo tomorrow. That will be lots of fun. The boys are doing great. We finally took apart the cribs today. Andrew has slept in his full sized bed since the day it was delivered. Christopher still preferred his crib. But, today Dh took them apart and now they have part of the crib for the headboard. I can't believe the cribs are gone now. A bittersweet moment. I remember trying to decide which cribs to buy and the excitement of putting them together and decorating the nurseries. Now, they have big boy rooms. Wow!!!! Where did the 2 1/2 years go???? UGH!!! My babies are growing up way too fast.
Hope everyone has a very Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!me (33) Dh (42)

Happy Mother's Day, everyone! Sherri-I'm with you on how bittersweet it is to move them out of the crib. As you know, I had to move Sarah before she even turned 2 because she was on the verge of climbing out. I've really been kind of sad about my hysterectomy lately. Baby fever has been hitting me hard, but I know that I really didn't have a choice. I couldn't go on like I was. I'm hoping with the summer coming, the girls and I will be able to get out and have fun and take my mind off of it. Sometimes I just feel like I want my uterus back, but it's gone and I can't change that. I'm so happy that God blessed me with these two little darlings, and that's what matters. Well, I'll talk to y'all later. Have a great day!

BTW-Happy Birthday to Me! DH and I celebrated yesterday by going to PF Chang's and the "World of Pharaohs" exhibit. I really enjoyed doing grown-up things. That's needed sometimes. Today is my day with the girls. We went to church, and now we're just chilling out. Cheyenne made me a card and refrigerator magnet with her picture on it. I love getting those things. It's so sweet. Well, you all have a wonderful day!

Mikki-----HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! Sounds like you had a great time with your Dh and a very nice Mother's Day. I am sorry you are having some baby blues. I get that way from time to time too. Ofcourse, now that you have had a hysterectomy, carrying another child isn't possible but hey, maybe someday you will decide to adopt. Somedays I really want to be pregnant and have another baby and other days I feel like 2 is the perfect number for us. We are leaving it all in God's hands. Well, Dh just started rubbing my back and shoulders. YAY!!!!! Gotta go. LOL.

Ladies,
Happy Belated Mother's Day!
Mikki, Happy belated b-day to you sounds like you celebrated like a queen.
Well ladies life has done a 360 since the kids entered our hearts but we are so grateful each day we wake up to them and hear the words mommy and daddy...I will be going back to work soon and although I wish I could be a SAHM realistically its not possible because I don't like us to live off of hubby's check...We simply could not enjoy our family and do the trips that we have planned for prior to their arrival. We were just told that the clinic will be ready for us to cycle in August and if financially nothing unforceable comes up we will be rolling with it. Childcare who knew was so pricey these days, I mean what happened to the days of $5 per hour. Naccrra we have looked into and we are still waiting to hear how much they will contribute and the public child development centers have a waiting list so that is one issue we are having to tackle beside potty training our little man. I haven't gone through previous threads so I hope all is well with everyone. OH before I conclude this evening I graduated May 1 with my BSP from UOP.Cyn & J 31yo/married 12 wonderful years

I don't get on often, but I do try to keep up with things. The triplets were born Oct 20, 2009. Their names are Amanda, Kenan & Annalisa. If you could add us please!

Congrats, Cyn, on your graduation! I bet you're glad you can just focus on being mom now. I know what you mean about the pricey child care. I only use it for hourly care if I have something I need to do, but even then, it adds up when you have more than one child. I pay $8/hr for two kids on base. Sometimes (when we have a date night) we use the approved babysitters who live in post housing, and they charge $10/hr for two kids. Needless to say, I don't leave them there for very long.
Well, it's been very busy today, so I better go load the dishwasher. It's great to hear how you're doing again, Cyn. We've missed you. As you see, this board has been very very slow, but hopefully it will pick up. I think everyone is on FB, which I'm not. It eats too much of my time, so I don't do FB or ******* anymore. Have a great day!

Hi, Gretchen! I just added you. This was my first time starting a new thread, and I just cut and paste from the old one. The board has been so dead lately. I think we're all just so busy with our little ones, as you well know. I can only imagine how busy you are with 5 kids. I know you're loving it though; I know I do. Well, speaking of little ones, I need to check on my two before they wreck the whole house-LOL!
