Good morning Oli - yes, I actually was (finally) induced at 41 weeks with my DS. I don't expect to go early with this one either. Even thought I'm huge - my OB checked me yesterday and used the words "wow - the baby is still way up in there". I know, I know... No progression. He said if I don't show any progression within the next couple of weeks that we will just schedule a c-section. He won't let me try to do the VBAC if I'm not starting anything on my own.

Oli - So cute! I'm glad you'll be getting some more rest soon.
sthang - I'm sorry you aren't sleeping. I wake up every 2 - 3 hours and sometimes wake up hungry (which is the worst, because I can't go back to sleep for an hour...)
hkbuck - Pelvic pain is no fun. In that regard I can't wait to be finished so I can walk normally again. It won't be long before our little ones are here
gabbiesmamma - I'll keep my fingers crossed for strong healthy lungs
You've been through so much. I imagine it will be wonderful when you get to have those little ones in your arms.
jvandy - It's amazing how perceptive little ones can be. I had a similar experience with my first 2 DDs. I too am feeling beyond huge. The u/s I had yesterday showed a great deal of fluid around each of them which is great for them, but makes me big and heavy. I'm almost at 50 pounds of weight gain.
maryevelyn - I let my husband rip into him so I could remain calm inwardly. He's a great protector

I had my appointment today instead of tomorrow. My stomach kind of rammed into the crib last night so they wanted me to come in today. Everything was fine, but I'm glad I went to put my mind at ease. They did the strep b test and and iron test. NST as normal. Nothing new as I expected. I'll just go back next week

Ari I would have lost it on them, like maryevelyn said I totally speak my mind at this point

Hello everyone! I've enjoyed reading all your updates. I can't believe how close some of you are!! Irish - congrats on bringing your sweet lil' one home!
I had my 32+ week appt Tuesday. Nothing major to report, but I now go back in 2 weeks instead of 4. He also has scheduled another u/s (did one at this stage w/ both ds too) for that appt and we will know more. He said that we can schedule the exact date for my c-section at that appt.
I'm getting really uncomfortable and can't believe I've got 6 + more weeks of growing to do. You'd think I'd remember. The heartburn has actually improved a little and my hip pain isn't as bad as it was. Both were REALLY bad during the 6th and 7th month so I'm glad for a liitle relief even if it is short lived.
I'm so eager for her to get here, but at the same time there is so much to do still. We are having our master bath redone (badly needs it with bad tile/ grout - drywall problems, etc), but haven't even started yet. I've got to get that all organized and contractors working and done before she gets here. Plus we have many other commitments so it should fly by.
Best wishes to all! I read often, but just don't get much chance to post. I can't wait to start reading your birth stories!Amy

Well, I went to my nephrologist today (she monitors me closely during pregnancy for my polycystic kidney disease) and she's taking me out of work after this week. She was very concerned about how exhausted I looked and wants me out of work before hypertension becomes a serious issue and I end up being induced early. So, 2 more days of work for me.

YEAHHHH for you, Heather!!!
You get to spend time with Leah too, right!
You won't believe how many people at work are shocked that I am almost full term. They all are telling me that I was bigger with dd#1 and do not look like I am about to have a baby that soon. Yeah, right! I am glad I appear to them that way, though.
I have an appt in an hour, so I'll update then.
Juli it looks like your boys are loving to stay with their mama for as long as they can. What do you prefer?

Oli - Yeah, it is nice that I'll get some good 1 on 1 time with Leah before the baby is born. And I'm not on bedrest, just limited activity, so we can still do things, I just have to take it easy. I sure do have a lot to get done at work in the next 2 days though! I have NOTHING ready! My replacement should be coming in tomorrow though so I might have her start teaching some classes (she filled in for me last year and the beginning of this year so she already knows they kids and how it's all run) so I can get stuff organized for her! How did your appt. go? Everyone at work keeps telling me I look like I'm gonna pop!

My appt was uneventful. They tried to draw blood, poked my twice-no luck
Ouchiee
So, I'll go to the lab on Monday. There is one girl there who gets my blood on the first try. The rest always struggle.
Good luck on getting everything done. Do you have that mother's instinct on the gender yet?
I want to get my pedicure and eyebrows done this weekend. Hubby will take preggo pics of me on Sunday. These are my BIG things left.

Heather it's great that you get to stop work after tomorrow!! I've loved being home
You're lucky that you have a sub who knows your ways and your kids. Mine was kinda just thrown in and isn't really a "team" player. I feel bad for my other team mates and my kids
Rest up!!
Oli uneventful appointments are the best. Sorry about the pricking, that's the worst.
