Symptoms - Symptoms - Symptoms

Just looking to see what everyone else is experiencing? What kind of late pg symptoms are you all having?
I'm 33 weeks. The last couple of weeks the indigestion has really kicked in. I try not to eat much after 5:00, otherwise I can't get any sleep. I sleep with my head & chest elevated on about 4 pillows. Can't get comfortable. Usually awake every 2 hours - either have to hit the potty, getting hit/kicked in the ribs or what feels like the bladder, or need to toss & turn to try to get comfortable. I have alot of low back pain, especially the more active I am. During the day I like to go for a short walk (1/2-1 mile), but after I do, my back really hurts the rest of the day. I guess I'm going to have to cut that back. With the aching back, it's getting hard to chase after my 4-year-old & 18-month old. I am feeling huge & uncomfortable. Oh yeah, starting to get constipated too, ugh. Thank God I don't have any swelling so far. I had alot with my last baby, so this is a blessing not to have it this time. I am so thankful that I have never had to be on bedrest; that would be so hard.
It's funny how we feel so miserable these last few weeks, but then once we have the baby we miss that wonderful feeling of carrying life inside of us. Regardless of the aches & pains, we are so thankful for our little blessing

I'm 34 weeks exactly (and exactly 3 months on strict bedrest)

All I can say is R E F L U X, R E F L U X and more R E F L U X

I'm on meds for contractions, so i only have an occassional BH, but I have had lovely "rib tickles" from my mini-man, tossing and turning and finally getting comfortable when I have to pee (again)...

Anyone else want to vent/share??

Me next! I'm just over 36w - in addition to the reflux which seems to come and go ... my biggest pain right now is in my hands. They are completely sore and I have no strength - it's worst during the night and when I first wake up. It's hard when I wake up and have to pee so bad and then can't get the bedroom door open!

But I'm still thoroughly enjoying being pg!

Lately my symptoms are non-prg related - I've had a touch of pnemonia and either pulled a muscle or cracked a rib from coughing so much. Well, I finally said goodbye to that illness, and on came the worst ear infection of my life (I thought kiddies only got those). Anyhow, I can hardly hear out of my right ear and I'm on a zillion different drugs to clear it up. (thanks for the vent!)

On the baby front, everytime I sneeze or cough I leak - disgusting. So, I've been going to the br every couple of hours to ward this off. No major aches, other than a very active bambino.

Looking forward to some good spring weather soon!

My turn

I definately have the occasional heartburn, usually every two days or so. I am swelling, mostly in the fingers and some in the feet. My fingers and joints get very painful so I think I have some carpal tunnel now. My joints are extremely sore in the morning, and I can barely bend them.

I went for 1.5 mile walk yesterday, and I can just tell you it will be the last time I do that til after the baby is here! My back and lower abdomen cannot take it. I am SUCH a wimp! And to think I actually considered going au natural birth. HA!

Reading your posts help me to know I am not alone. I am 35wks and measuring a 1 or 2 ahead.

My nights are the worst with reflux so bad I wish I could vomit. Peeing every couple of hours and lots of pain makes for sleepless nights. My right ankle is more swollen than left but not as bad as some of ya'll. My legs do ache at night and especially in my hips. My hands are a little swollen but still not like ya'll describe. I stopped walking because the head is so low that I just don't think I will make my normal mile so it seems like a waste of time. I have had diarrhea for a several days but only a couple of times a day and I am hoping that that means that I may be dilating some and that it is not just a bug. I guess I will find out Monday. I get the strep test Monday and then start seeing the doctor 2 times a week once will be for a NST.

Funny story, my son had an accident at school yesterday. It looked like the stool was so loose that he just couldn't get to the bathroom in time. He is 5 and was really embarrassed. So, I told him that accidents happen and that I am his mommy and that he should not worry about this and that I will always come and help him when he needs me, it was probably something he ate, etc... I cleaned him up and he went back to class. Then we were eating dinner and I got up to get something and as I started to cough, I wet myself. As I ran to the bathroom, we all laughed. DH had to get me new undies and he asked if I need to start wearing rubber pants. It sure helped our son to know that accidents really do happen!!!LOL!LOL!LOL!

The baby is very active and I am actually feeling better overall than I have been.

Good-Luck to us all,
Renee
