My update and failed 1hr GTT

Hello all
I had my OB appt yesterday at 27w2d, everything looked great with the baby. I have gained 14lbs total, BP was good, urine fine, but then the nurse called me today and I failed my 1hr GTT, my level was 161.
I have had GD before with 2 out of my last 5 pregnancies and had to take insulin so I know what to expect, but I was really hoping I would get off with this PG. I will take the 3 hr GTT next week gosh I hope I pass it!!! I hate peanut butter and eggs and that’s all I was able to eat last time.
Also it looks like I will have an amnio at 38 weeks for a delivery on May 11th, 38w1d!!!! If it works out that way I only have 10w5d left!!!
I hope everyone is doing well in their pregnancies!

I am sorry to hear about the GD. I just found out I have it also. I was at 154. I am hoping that I will just have to diet and not all of the other stuff!!! Dr did not say anything about the 3 hour test. I am thinking I only have 10 weeks so I should just watch what I eat and suck it up!!!

I with you on the cheese and eggs. Not much to snack on. I can't have my fruit that I love and most veggies sound aweful right now!!!
