Zack Starts Parent-Tot Preschool Today

I'm pretty excited. It's through community ed and is actually right next door to our home (it's the daycare/preschool ed center). I'm happy because it will involve kids and parents who will probably also enroll in 3-year-old preschool next year. I hope it gives him a little bit of an advantage, but I also hope it teaches him to listen better and to cooperate.

Wish us luck!

Ha--yes! I got a reasonably good vibe from the class. It is very easy going and the kids can do what they want (within reason). There are craft stations, there is story time, there's a snack, and there is play time. Zack liked the story time and stood immediately in front of the teacher to listen. He also (of course) liked the snack. As for play time, he had some major issues. He really didn't want to leave (it was only 15 minutes) and threw the biggest fit I've ever seen. He actually started to hyperventilate by the time we got home! I hope he figures out that he can come back and it is okay to leave sometimes...

All in all good! And he's not the only wild boy. There was one that was at least as bad and maybe worse than Zack.
