How could I NOT be thankful?!?

Here are some pics from Jared's first Thanksgiving weekend...

This is one of my 16ish lb little man and our 22 lb turkey...

This one is of his him eating bananas from the baby safe feeder bag for the first time. It's his new favorite thing!!

And finally a photo and short video clip of my pookie trying so hard to crawl...

Barge from July---He is the most adorable little boy! I love how he is trying so hard to crawl. That baby safe feeder sounds interesting. I will have to check that out!

Sharon - That pic is great!! Jared was just as much of a mess as Shelby by the end. Today I put a pealed piece of apple in the bag and he liked that too. It was a little less messy because it was just wet and not gooey. The cold apple slice probably felt good on his gums. He also cries if he drops it or I take it away. We brought it with us to a restaurant yesterday morning when we went out for breakfast and he ate banana while we ate our food and it pretty much kept him occupied for the whole meal! We used toy links to attach it to the high chair so he wouldn't drop it on the floor.

Hilary - those pictures are adorable! I have some of those feeders too - I haven't been brave enought to use them yet. It's exciting that he is trying to crawl - Stacy is sort of figuring out how to get her bottom in the air so it could be any day now.

The Turkey picture (which is too funny) reminded me of our thanksgiving - my mom had gotten a turkey from the local co-op and it did not have a weight on it. I picked it up and said "16.5 pounds" 'cause that's how much Max weighed at his 4 month check-up (about, he was actually a little more) and it's about how much our cat weighs...... Funny thing - she got out the scale and I was right! She totally did not believe me.
