Kevy has also been waking up more during the night and keeps screaming until he gets his milk. Dh has been really sick for over a week now and is taking tons of pain meds and narcotics, so its been all on me to wake up million times per night. I am just so tired right now having to take care of all 3 kids plus dh. I have to carry Marky around since his leg will be in a cast for 4 weeks. Marky is a super energetic kid and since he now cant walk anymore, I have to just plump him on the couch in front of the TV. But, he gets bored and frustrated and wants to constantly be carried. And I have take care of dh and kevy also. My mom has been my lifesaver for the past week, she has been coming over and helping me. I took dh to the Dr. Monday and he was given anti-viral medications (the same one they give for the swine flu virus). But he never had any kind of blood work to see what he has. He is really contagious and he walks around with a mask on his face so we dont all catch his horrible symptoms and he had to miss lots of time from work. His patients are getting very mad, because he keeps postponing their appointments. Tomorrow morning, I have to take dh to the Dr. again to find out why he is not getting any better and then right after his appointment I have to take both boys to the Ped. for their 6 months and 2 years appointments. I really dont know how I am going to do all that tomorrow by myself, since my mom wont be around to help (she has construction going on in her house). I may have a heart attack soon.

Wow Shannon I don't know how you're doing it. Taking care of the boys and dh must be incredibly difficult. At least your mom can help most of the time. Do they know what is wring with dh? Why all the heavy drugs? Hopefully tomorrow won't be too bad for you..
Mary I thought eggs were on the do not eat list as well due to allergies.

I just got back from taking dh all over the place this morning. Im so exhausted. Kevin was up 5 times last night and got 3 full bottles and kept waking up and crying even after drinking. Dh was also up all night cause his symptoms was so much worse and was having a pounding headache. He started hallucinating and talking to himself and I was freaking out. He woke up and didnt know where he was. Probably side effect all the meds. he was taking. In the morning I ended up taking to his Dr., who became very concerned and he send him for STAT lab work, CT of brain and to see an Ophthalmologist. I ended up canceling the boys Ped. appointment today, because I just couldnt take dh to all these appointments. Sister in law drove to our house this morning (1 hour drive) to look after the boys and take the boys back to her house, so I could take dh to his appointments. I rescheduled Kevin's 6 month appointment for the day after Thanksgiving.
Becca-that is weird that Audrey doesnt want to eat anymore. I think you should keep trying though.
Smiling-Good to hear from you and glad Sean is doing so well.
Ally - I also was under the impression that eggs are not be started until after 9-10 months, due to allergies.
We are not going anywhere far for Thanksgiving. All my family and dh's family are around an hour drive from us.

We were told no egg whites, shellfish, nuts and something else until they were 2. With the girls we gave peanut butter to them before they were 2 cause we didn't know luckily we had no reactions. I know they ate scrambled eggs before they were one since we had them fully on table food at 11 months.
Shannon- We just found out that Emma could have an umbilical hernia since she has an outie belly button but my doctor said as long as it is not hurting her then it was fine. She said sometimes they just fix themselves. I only asked cause friends were commenting on her belly button like there was something wrong with her. I'm so glad her doctor has a wait and see approach cause I couldn't see putting her through that surgery if it isn't necessary.
I hope your DH gets better soon. I really don't know what I would do if DH got sick again and have to take care of all 4 of them. There are days I just want to hand them over to him when he gets home from work and just hide away from everyone.

Shannon that sounds so horrible. I would flip out if that happened to dh during the night and I was along with him. When do you hear anything? Wow 5 times is a lot and 3 bottles? Is this new for him to do? I hope that things get better for you soon.

Oh my gosh Shannon! That sounds terrible for DH, glad they are running tests. I hope things get better soon for both DH and Kevin, you're in my prayers.
Yeah in hindsight I looked over the paperwork from the dr. and it did say scrambled egg yolk. The paperwork also said OK to minced meats after 7 months. I'm really not sure if I'm ready for any of it. There's no evidence that he's even getting teeth yet! I think I am going to stick to what we're doing now, and maybe start blending some foods he's already having and adding more fruits and veggies.Me: 32, DH: 38 - TTC since Sep-06

Shannon - I'm so sorry to hear of all your troubles. I'm glad your sister in law could help out for today. I don't know what your finances are, but can you afford a mother's helper? A high school or college student who could come in for a few hours a day to give you a break? I'm worried about you. Its alot to take care of dh and a baby at the same time. I hope the doctors are able to resolve DH's problems very soon. Hang in there and we're all here for you.
My Sean has also reverted back to waking up in the middle of the night. CIO worked for us, but then he got back to back ear infections and was waking in the night due to that. The ear infections are now gone, but now he's back to his old patterns. We're doing CIO again tonight. Crossing fingers that it works.SmilingIrishIs

Wondering if maybe our LOs who are waking up/eating more often are going through a growth spurt? Chase has done it two nights in a row too, and I read one comes around 6 mo.

Thanks Shannon. Yes he is still in ICU. His breathing troubles come and go. Right now they're not too good. They're not doing much. The dr. didn't see him until 2:30 today, which didn't make me too happy. He is on a medicine called IVIG and is on it for 5 days. The thing that stinks is when he gets it he also gets benadryl which knocks him out. Last night I was up til 1am and then up for the day at 6. ICU sleep is not too good either. The doctor said that his legs are better today but his upper body is weaker. They decided that he will be getting this med as an out patient 1x a month when hes discharged in the cancer center. I guess because it;s an infusion.
Shannon how is DH doing?
