I don't like posting after Lori. Seems Holden is a little super-man!

Gabe has about 14 words now. Just recently started saying straw, spoon, off and dark. Ball is still his most used word. Loves anything ball like. Keeps calling all the pumpkins we see 'BALL' as loud as he can!

If I say just before dinner time, 'Gabe please bring mummy your sippy cup' he'll go get it and bring it to me. Cracks me up that he can do that. I still see him as a baby-baby not this little mini person. If I say 'let's go upstairs or let's go for a bath' he'll walk to the bottom of the stairs and wait for me or walk to the bathroom and try and turn the handle.

He's very very social and a playful, fun little boy. He's just started spinning around when he's excited. He'll do it anywhere we go if he sees someone he likes. He shares all his toys and food at daycare. I love that he's polite and plays well.

He's jumped up in weight and height after his 18 month appt. Went from 25%tile for weight up to 40. And from 70%tile in height up to 80. Every play-date we go on he's as tall if not taller than the 2 yr olds. Dh is 6ft 6 though. I just know he's going to pass me in height when he's 12

I know I've said this time and again at each phase but this age is honest to goodness my favorite so far. I love that we have this strong bond and connection now. Just a look from me will send him giggling.

Glad to see the board moving again. I've missed you all

Every baby thier own personality. One child may do something better than another child, but that doesnt mean that child is no good at anything.. They all excell in thier own ways.

I think it sounds like everyone is doing GREAT!! that's one reason i hesitated on posted but then thought I would go ahead...yes they are ALL different and all do things differnt and at different ages and stages-that is what makes the world such a great place! I'd hate to have a class of 20 sixth graders that were alike! I love the 20 different kids there who all have their own personalities and quirks and ways to make me laugh (and mad!!)

I'm glad to see the board going again, too!!! Yeah!!!

HOpe everyone is doing good-and Curly, I agree-this age is AWESOME-I bet it just keeps getting better and better! Being a parent is better than anyone could have ever told me-don't u all agree??

It definitely gets better. Looking forward to Aubrey being 3 feet tall. She's catching up to her bigger sister. It's amazing.

Oh, boy, Lori, I'm impressed! My 3-year-old has NEVER used the potty! Can you send Holden over to work with him?

Nolan now goes up and down the stairs. He has always been so careful around the stairs that I never got the gate out. I still hold my breath when he starts backing down the first step, but no accidents yet.

Tonight he picked up one of my older boys' DVDs and said "Word World!" He was right!

I hear more words all the time. Only one sentence ("there it is!" for when I 'lost' his arm inside his shirt), but more talking all the time.
