    Sunscreen

I'm curious: what sunscreens/sunblocks are you using? Which ones would you recommend, and which ones would you discourage us from using? We have only used Aveeno Baby, and while I am happy with it for the sunblocking, I have recently learned that if any gets in the eyes (from rubbing or sweating heavily), it STINGS!

I use the one that Brooke Sheilds advertises on TV. Pink bottle. Can't remember the name of it..but I love it! It's great for the water too. You basically spray it on and rub all over.

I use the coppertone water babies and it seems to work well. Ella had a couple of episodes where she had an allergic reaction from something. I talked to the Dr. and he doesn't think it was the suntan lotion. The two times it happened I had her in the pool, but only for a few minutes and only her feet the first time and up to her waste the second. The Dr. doesn't think it was that either.....I am really hoping it isn't. The reaction was in and around her eyes and a little rash above the eye that was most red. She also had a red and runny nose. The first time I gave her bendryl and the second I just washed her face and it cleared up. I am still thinking she might have rubbed her eye or it dripped down from sweat....we will see.

I have been using one by Neutrogena it is SPF 60 and waterproof as well as sweatproof. So far I haven't noticed any irritations to eyes or anything. The bottle is white with a pink snap top. I think sweatproof is the key!
