Period Question

OK girls,

I've had 2 periods since having the girls, both Very light and short, then 3 wks after the last one, I got it again, and its been 7 days and is VERY HEAVY and very red and just doesn't seem to be going away... no cramps or anything, just non-stop bleeding...

Is this normal? Just curious about your experiences... thanks

I was warned that the first one would be bad. But I'm a bad person to ask since I'm still BF'ing and only had one (?) maybe...it was so light, it was just spotting. It's the only one I've had so far. With BF'ing, I may not get it until I stop. Who knows. Were your periods regular before getting pg? It seems that the heavy flow is the norm, but if you're worried, maybe a quick call into the gyn?

My period came back 5 weeks post partum - very light for a few months...then stopped for 2 then this past one was a medium flow for EIGHTEEN days...stupid body! As a result I'd have to agree with Munch - pregnancy messes with your body!

BTW - the internet said to call the OB if the period lasted more than 14 days...but if it is very heavy I would call sooner.
