another milestone

I know most of your babies already do it, but Lexi rolled over for the first time yesterday and it was amazing, the best part is that Mark was home and we both saw it for the first time together..

we missed the inital "first" roll, but both witnessed the second one...

we fed them and Mark was on the floor changing Alyssa and I got done w/ Lexi and put her on her belly and went into the kitchen, I came back in and she was on her back, I just figured Mark rolled her over because she was getting fussy or something, and then a few minutes later Mark asked me if I rolled her over, and I said no and he said he didn't either.......

so we put her back on her belly and lo and behold she rolled over to her back, it was great, Mark said he was going to cry, it was sweet...

everytime we put her on her belly she rolled right over....

today I got it on video....

Also I just wanted to say that she LOVES her rainforest jumperoo, she screams and jumps all around like crazy.. its great!

Wow! Mine rolls from her back to her tummy...and by the way, still HATES tummy time. So the minute she gets there, she WAILS. I thought it took quite a while for them to be able to roll from their tummy to their back!? Either way, that's great! So far she hasn't rolled in her sleep, but we'll know when she does! LOL

Tsquare, My pedi said that they start rolling from belly to back first for some reason its harder to roll from back to belly.... so who knows, so yours went right for the challenge... She's a strong one!!

Timely post since I've been wondering if T is slow with the rolling from back to belly...I guess not. Since shes not a big fan of tummy time I don't see this happening any time soon. However she is getting REALLY good at going from belly to back...which doesn't help with the tummy time issue.

em'/tsquare Piper is the same way . . . hates tummy time and since she can roll over . . . she's on her tummy about 3 minutes before she's on her back, again . . great feeling to see it for the first time also . . . jumperoo (might have to get one of those)

Lieschen rolled from tummy to back around 4.5mths. She did this probably 6 or 7 times in total and has never done it again...how weird is that? Lachlan has rolled from tummy to back for a bout a month now. Still no back to tummy rolling though. It's a pain in his cot when he rolls because he can't sleep on his back so the minute he rolls and can't get back again he cries and we have to go there to roll him back again.
