Hoping to Adopt... Networking

Hi Everyone-

We are a NY family of five hoping to complete our family through domestic adoption. We have been home study approved and waiting (and waiting and waiting ) since August. We are trying to be as proactive as we can in getting our profile out there, but we always think there is more that can be done. Any suggestions? How did you spread the word outside of your family and friends? Hi. We just adopted our seventh child. They are all private adoptions ranging from 22yrs to 8 weeks A few are siblings. The last two I called around to attorneys and happened to find one that had a girl looking for a family. She ended up picking us over another family for her baby girl and we just took home her second little girl two months ago. We have sisters from her 22 mos apart. I have done so many different things to find a baby this just seemed to work best for us. Good luck. It's a wonderful thing for a child in need.
