Wow, I've made it 5 months already and things are going well with our match. Only 2 months to go before "induction day" and we are all excited about that. Birthmom is starting to get uncomfortable but is still looking great. At the appointment she had on Friday I even got to see baby moving around - really cool! I have felt baby girl kick in the past but this was new. We have been having some really good heart to heart talks and we are holding nothing back and it is so cool. It is really feeling like this is the baby for us... not to mention that we have made a life long friend in the process and I believe will have a great open adoption. I was also able to meet her children on Friday which was such a treat. They know who I am and were a bit stand offish at first, but by the end of our visit it was like we had known each other for a long time and they were having fun playing and chatting with me. The youngest (5) was already to the point of sitting on my lap and being tickled which was far from her first look at me when she told me "I'm not even going to look at you". Thankfully I wasn't as bad as she was sure I was going to be.

Keep your fingers crossed and hopefully I will be able to keep the good news coming... every other week appointments start this month!
