Off Line for a Couple of Days...

Hi ladies!
I won't be around for a couple of days (I think I'll have withdrawal!). Dh and I are closing on our new house today -- for the next four days we'll be painting and getting the house ready to move in. We won't have internet service UNTIL NEXT THURSDAY! So though I won't even be lurking, I'm hoping to return to all kinds of good news when I get back online

Talk to you soon!
Loreen

Have fun with your new house. It will be exhausting work but so, so satisfying. Hopefully the week will go by fast and you'll be back soon!!!!

Congratulations on the new casa! How much fun are you going to have decorating that new nursery?

Thanks for all the good thoughts, ladies! Let me just tell you that if I don't see another paint roller for a year it would be no great loss! We painted 5 rooms before the movers dropped off our furniture (no, Loie, the new nursery was not one of them). The master bathroom was the absolute WORST! Anyhow, we had a lot of fun with color--we were really smart and before the movers took everything to storage (we had to live in temporary housing for 6 weeks) we made color decisions for the new house, matching oriental rugs and artwork to where we were going to put everything in the new house. So, all-in-all I'm pretty pleased.

The nursery will come (again!) in about a month. I"ll have my sister and mother come down for a weekend to paint it and set it up (like they did the last time). By then, I'll have recovered from my paint roller hatred

Glad to hear all went well. Of course, you had everything planned out, which was terribly smart of you. I understand the roller hatred. It goes right along with "paint in your hair" hatred too.

Welcome to your new home!
