Well 2 weeks in here now and still taking it "day by day" The Dr's call me a ticking time bomb to have the twins but still I keep making it by a thin hair with my blood pressure. Sometimes people have preeclampsia and it stays this close till the end. Sometimes it turns when you least expect it which is the reason i cannot leave here. anyway we finally have a plan. I have an amnio Feb 22nd on my 5 yr wedding anniversary (35 weeks gesation) to see if lungs are ready. If they are I will devliver that next morning Feb 23rd. If lungs are not mature, i deliver March 1st which is 36 weeks and that will not require an amnio. So i kinda feel better that we have a plan now. I have 16 days max before I am done!! Trying to be + tonight...doesn't happen oten.

Katie, hang in there. You can do this! I almost came to visit you in the hospital the other night when we had a little scare, but by the time we left, it was almost midnight and I didn't want to wake you up. I was having contractions averaging 6 min apart for over 2 hours so they told me to come in. False labor! I was sent home after they did a fetal fibronectin that came back negative. So looks like I have at least 2 more weeks of being pregnant. Wouldn't it be ironic for me to make it to my scheduled date at 38 weeks after going into preterm labor at 25 weeks? So crazy!

So glad you have a date now! You can count down the days! Hope to join you there at Presby soon.
