How far along are you?
11w4d
How are you feeling?
Pretty good. Same ole symptoms...tired and nauseated if I don't eat enough. I have started drinking a Carnation Instant Breakfast right before I go to bed. I got this advice from two twin moms. Since I am not very hungry around dinner, it has kept me from waking up nauseated in the middle of the night. They also told me they believed it contributed to having higher weight twins.
Any new symptoms?
Just a little crampy and uncomfortable. Maybe a growing uterus?
When is your next appointment?
Friday, Sept. 18th with the high risk Peri. It will be the nuchal screening.
I just had my regular monthly OB appt and they did an u/s. The machine was so archaic, I could hardly see anything. The OB said she saw two good looking babies. She printed out pictures and they look completely black. I guess I got spoiled at the RE with their awesome machine.

I have three cats and a dog. I did not want three cats, but the last one I found lying in front of a dumpster at the REs office on the first day of this cycle. She is the sweetest cat.
I live in a neighborhood. My decor is mostly southern. Warm autumn colors. Nothing too unique.
I would say I am a Betty Crocker. I do like to cook and it is a necessity on one income. I like trying new recipes. My family dinners that are a big hit are make your own sushi, spaghetti (made by DH), stuffed Chicken, and Pan Fried Fish.

Well here we are into September! Getting closer every week to the day we meet our little ones!

How far along are you? I am 12 weeks today!!! yay!!!!

How are you feeling? Pretty good for the most part.

Any new symptoms? Heartburn is starting as well as excess allergy type stuff but other than that starting to feel a lot better.

When is your next appointment? Tuesday the 8th.

As far as another get to know you question...
Tell us about your life at home:

Do you have pets? Yes and old dog we named Dakota. She was a rescue from a local shelter. Rescued animals are my favorite!

What is your decorating style? I don't really have one. Frankly not very good at decorating. DH actually handles that and is surprisingly very good at it!

Do you live in a neighborhood or out in the country? Live in the city... wish we lived farther out sometimes, especially around the 4th of July.

Are you a Betty Crocker or Take Out/Dine Out Queen? I love to cook and am very good at it but sometimes to hard to do w/ being in school full time and working full time (and now being pregnant). So now we kinda balance the two. Hubby can cook but lately has decided he won't more than 1x a week... ugh...

What are some of your favorite dinners that you enjoy as a family? Our favorites are homemade and are more of the down home type meals. Enchiladas, chili, meatloaf, and an assortment of yummy casseroles would be our favorites.

How far along are you? Almost 13 weeks. I thik, I am getting all confused on this piece. My brain does not work well anymore hahaha.

How are you feeling? I have good days and bad days.

Any new symptoms? Peeing more at night.

When is your next appointment? Wednesday

I have three dogs. My husband and I are rather ecclectic in our style of living. We love anything that is retro. We also love stuff from the 50s so we collect a lot of "neat" stuff. We live in military neighborhood so it is your basic military neighborhood with a conncoction of people from everywhere.

I work a lot so we tend to eat out a lot. Maybe two times a week which I think is a lot. My new job will have earlier hours so hopefully we will not eat out as much. We eat a hidge podge of food but my family loves my spaghetti!

How far along are you? 11w today
How are you feeling? pretty good, still tired sometimes.
Any new symptoms? Cranky like nobodies business. I will be happy one minute and in tears the next, for no reason. My belly is really changing. It is all hard now and the bend between rolls is going away, and I am losing my waist. Any clothes that come up higher no longer fit. To the outside world I am not showing, but I can sure tell.

When is your next appointment? not until Sept. 22.

As far as another get to know you question...
Tell us about your life at home:
Do you have pets? We have one cat, Addie, who is going to have major adjustment problems to a baby coming home. She IS the baby.
What is your decorating style? Whatever I find that I like. I am terrible at decorating, my house is a mesh of things we like, but it doesn't really flow. I guess you would best call our style "transitional", not modern, but not traditional.
Do you live in a neighborhood or out in the country? I live in a neighborhood.
Are you a Betty Crocker or Take Out/Dine Out Queen? What are some of your favorite dinners that you enjoy as a family? I am notroious in my family for NOT being able to cook...too many disasters to tell about. Really though, I cook about 6 nights a week, but it is all simple. DH makes wonderful BBQ. Another of our favorite dinners is Breakfast for dinner, and I can actually cook that! This winter I am determined to use my crockpot more.

How far along are you? 10w5d today

How are you feeling? Feeling pretty good, just so tired all the time.

Any new symptoms? No new symptoms, just peeing all the time, tired, hungry all the time and lots of twinges from the stretching.

When is your next appointment? Friday, the 11th. This appt is with the maternal fetal medicine group for our first trimester screening. I'm hoping it will be very in-depth so we can spend some more time seeing the babies.

We have two dogs. Harley is a 9 lb. female pomapoo and is my little lap dog, but still plays rough. Rudy is a 90 lb. lab mix that my husband rescued about 8 years ago. He spends most of his time outside mainly because of how much hair he has!

I would say my decorating style is old world/pottery barn. I love iron pieces and earth tones.

As much as I hate to admit it, we eat out a lot. My husband does not cook at all, although he will grill occassionally. It is just hard for me to cook for two people, especially when it takes so long after a long day at work. When I do cook, it is good though, and I enjoy doing it.

How far along are you? 13w3d - hellllloooo 2nd trimester!
How are you feeling? Tired. Otherwise pretty good.
Any new symptoms? Everything leaves a bad taste in my mouth I think I "officially" have a belly now too...
When is your next appointment? 9/25 w/ OB (early glucose test & gender scan/checkup) & 9/28 w/ perinatal (cervix check)

As far as another get to know you question...
Tell us about your life at home:
I have an 8 year old weimaraner (william wegman type dog) named Wilson - 85 lb - he's a total momma's boy and right now he's suffering through fall allergies.
I don't know what DH & my decorating style would be...I'd like to think it's fairly clean & modern but I think some of the stuff we do is pretty unusual.
DH & I live 5-10 miles from a small city; convenient enough to get to anything we need, yet still peaceful - we have a horse farm & park right up the road.
I am NO Betty Crocker - DH does most of the cooking and he's seemingly a cooking prodigy - I have my own Emeril at home.
One of the my fave's that DH makes is steak grilled, then baked w/ cheese on top, then he adds a balsamic glaze over the top. It's really good but he doesn't make it often cuz the glaze takes quite a bit of time to get right.

Went shopping w/ my mom this weekend - 2 cribs w/ mattresses & an ottoman should be delivered in a few weeks. Bedding sets are waiting in my nursery closet! DH and I put up recessed lighting in the nursery today too...looks great. Now I'm pooped. We're waiting for the in-laws to come - we're going to eat then head to the casino as they're giving away a Corvette (FIL's fave car) @ 7 pm. Otherwise just dreading heading back to work tomorrow.

How far along are you? 11w
How are you feeling? fair, still nauseated but hoping that subsides in the next week or two. Hubby is home in 2 weeks and we are going on a big trip to the beach, long awaited.
Any new symptoms? I am showing now I thin maybe to strangers too. I had to break down and go to the Motherhood Outlet and I picked up some nice clothes. I am a plus size and they even had nice stuff in that dept. Most was long sleeved since it will be cooling off soon i did not want to bother with summer and fall and winter clothes so I got basically liek fall clothes. Oh and a new symtom is being dumb..i am doing the silliest things like putting cereal back in the fridge.

When is your next appointment? Sept 21 with OB where I just talk and do my urine and Blood pressure and the Oct 5 is my ultrasound with high risk which i think i will see monthly unless a problem arrises or i get towards the end.

As far as another get to know you question...
Tell us about your life at home:
Do you have pets?
I have a 3 yr old teacup Maltipoo named Lacey and she is my first born daughter. She seriously does not know she is a dog and does everything with us. She is family just like my son LOL..I am so attached to her. I got her one month before i got preggo with Carson so she is my first born.

What is your decorating style? That is a funny question because i do not decorate. Me and dh are very plain simple people but i would say traditional and def not contemporary.

Do you live in a neighborhood or out in the country?
Country. We have 1.5 acre yard that we LOVE and still can get to the town in 12 minutes so its great here just too darn hot.

Are you a Betty Crocker or Take Out/Dine Out Queen?
both..i love to cook but lately have no energy to do it so i am guilty of take out sometimes but dh and i enjoy eating out once a week so we can let someone else cook and we can sit and talk about our day and things.

What are some of your favorite dinners that you enjoy as a family?

Well my dh is NOT a cook but he can cook some great Spaghetti and Meatsauce that i love! He loves when i cook my pot roast with potatoes, carrots, mushrooms, gravy etc.. I also cook home made chicken pot pie that we love and I love to do casseroles and try new recipes that are pretty simple...with kids there is not alot of time to cook 25 ingredient recipes alot.

I have a question- Have youu guys gained any weight? I have gained about 4 pounds.

Katie, I have not gained any weight which is fine with me hahaha. I actually have lost some weight due to me cutting back on sugar and drinking LOTS of water. I have been eating lots of fruit.
