    Latest u/s!

Well, had my last of the RE-ordered u/s yesterday. (They had ordered them every week, this was the last. The next is the "early anatomical screening" at 14.5 weeks -- a bit more than 3 weeks away.) I was exactly 11 weeks yesterday, and the baby is measuring a bit ahead at 11w4d, heartbeat of 171. The coolest thing though is that until yesterday, everything was completely still. But since they did the nuchal yesterday, the tech needed the baby to move a bit, so she starts jiggling my belly saying "Wake up baby! Come on, wake up!" and all of a sudden this tiny little thing starts waving arms and legs everywhere, doing somersaults, kicking, pushing, putting arms/hands in his/her face... amazingly cool. It truly was. I still can't get over it!

Anyhow, all is looking good (the nuchal was good, too, with a back-of-neck measurement of 0.9 mm -- anything up to 3 is good they tell me). So, now I go through withdrawal of seeing this little one every week, and wait now until September 20 for the next one!

    Samantha,

You were so lucky to get weekly visits. Now you are relegated to waiting like the rest of us. How fun to see the little one move. Hope I get to see that today.... Glad all is well.
