How much is everyone's little one(s) eating and how often are they being fed?
This is Cole's first week at the babysitter's house ~ she has a baby who is 5 weeks older than Cole and she's trying to get Cole on a similar schedule as her son. J (her son) goes to sleep at 9:30pm, wakes up at 6am and eats every 3 hours during the day. She said it's basically like clockwork ~ 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm then down for the night. I never had Cole on a real schedule when I was home with him ~ I just let him eat/sleep when he wanted to. Right now he's eating about every 2 1/2 hours, with a longer stretch at night (between 5-7 hours). She's trying to get him to hit the 3 hour mark, but he can't make it that long just yet. Does every 2 1/2 hours sound about right for his age of 2 months?
Also, he's eating approximately 4.5 to 5 ounces at every feeding. On occasion, he's taken 6 ounces for me, but it's usually closer to 5 ounces. With how often he eats, he's taking in about 30 ounces of formula a day. He seems content and doesn't show signs of being hungry, but I've read posts from other moms with babies close to his age, and they seem to be eating a lot more. His next checkup is at the end of the month so I'll find out what percentile he's in for weight, but I'm just curious to hear from you ladies.

Hailey is still only eating 4oz at a time and she is almost 3 months,She eats about every 3 1/2 hours. Sometimes she goes longer if she is napping. She goes to sleep between 8-9pm now and sleeps til 6-7m...so she's sleeping through the night and doesn't wake to eat. I have been making 5oz bottles because she SHOULD be eating more soon....right?! Her first bottle of the morning she will eat 5oz cause she is pretty hungry after sleeping all night long. I have tried to get her on a "routine" but I pretty much let her "tell" me when she's hungry or tired.

HI! Brady eats between 4-6oz every three hours. He still gets up once at night to eat but that is after a 6-7 hr stretch so it's not too bad.
It sounds like your sitter is on the 'Babywise' book schedule. They basically mandate feeding and sleeping times. I am just not wired like that but I have friends that swear by it. Says they sleep so much better, etc.
