    1st Birthday parties....

What will you be doing for your little ones 1st birthday? Seth is already one and I know there was a Luau involved, but tell us more!!

We are doing something at our house with friends and family. Probably too many people for our house, but it will be nice just the same. It will be on the 21st, two days before his actual b-day. Dh is suppose to be making his invites...something cute and with a picture for this year since it is so special. Dh also wants to make his cake.....we are thinking the baby einstein caterpillar since he LOVES that thing when he sees it at the beginning of the movies (plus it should be easy to make!).
We got him this toy for his gift. It has activities on all sides and he loves to try and figure out how things work so we thought this would be great (plus it doesn't make noise!!!) We are only doing this for a gift since we figured he would be getting to much stuff as it is.

We are planning on his first haircut that week also and his one year pics (it is my spring break week too which is great!). Only a few short weeks away.

So, what are everyone elses plans?

We ordered it from Amazon. The original one we wanted was constantly on back order and said they would ship when it came in, but we wanted it here for his b-day so we found another for more money, but it here and ready for him to play with in two short weeks!

I found one at akidplace.com and they only charged $27 to ship to HI. Thank you for posting it!

I also ordered a play tunnel. We were at that children's zoo last week and he loved crawling through the tunnel there.

I told my brother to get K a play tunnel for his b-day (from IKEA). I am hoping that he does, and will be excited for Kolby to try it out. He loves to play peek-a-boo so I am sure he will have fun with someone at the other end peeking at him! Glad you found a good deal on the shipping....don't suppose Germany will be much better will it?!?!

K had his party today and it turned out perfectly. He didn't let us down with the cake and dug right in......cake everywhere!! He loved it and his daddy made it for him (Mickey Mouse). He did great for not having an afternoon nap and he played and played. He crashed an hour earlier than usual and I pray that he sleeps all night!! I will post the link to pics when we get them all downloaded....there are tons of course!
