and they are aweful!They had the option of ording the photo on cd, so we did that instead of gettting pics directly on spot. I got home & the pic is out of focus! Grrr....we even went out of our way to a mall where I heard the Santa was your classic version & the display was nice. I called & my only option is to go there (again) & get a refund or get the pic redone.
That and Santa didn't even smile & you can see a guy in the background waiting in line. WTH?
And Brayden cried....![]()
And he was all dressed up....
And I'm irritated! (can you tell??)
Thinking of just renting a Santa outfit for dh to wear! Probably be cheaper!!

Julie,
After 6 years of failed Santa pics, we have given up. We don't even bother ordering them anymore. There is always something wrong. The boys stand in line for an hour to sit on Santa's lap for two minutes, get yet another candy cane that will end up broken into tiny pieces and stuck to the back seat of the van, and that will be it. Fa La La La La la la la la. (I'm such a scrooge about the Santa line
)
The very first year that we had them done, Santa was trying to hold both boys on his lap. I know that he didn't do this intentionally, but the way he was holding them was rather uncomfortable. Since the boys had dark pants on, and Santa was wearing white gloves, the way he was trying to balance one of the boys was weird as he had his hands right over the kid's you know what, and it was VERY obvious. I ended up taking a black marker and trying to color in his finger so it didn't look so obscene.
Stupid Santa pictures.
FWIW, Braydon is still such a cutie, no matter how p@ssed off Santa looks.

OMG Julie, I'd be ticked too! I'm sorry it didn't go well.
We took Molly to the mall yesterday as well to get her Santa pics done (she was dressed as she is in my Avatar). The line was HUGE. Then I happened to see Santa, who looked like some redneck bumpkin wearing a blue print shirt and overalls!! WTH is that all about? Then I saw the prices for the pictures and I told DH "no way are we standing here this long for redneck Santa." Plus we were horrified with Molly's Easter pics, which were done by the same people. So we've decided to take Molly to Petsmart to have her pic done there (along with the dogs of course). I know that sounds crazy but the Santa pics we've done before turned out really cute, it's only $5, and the line is really short! I figured I'd take my camera with me and as long as we pay for MG and the dogs they could care less if we take our own pics & video of her with Santa.
Again, so sorry it wasn't a better experience. If the drive wasn't far, I'd tell you to at least go & get your money back....but you'd probably spend more in gas these days. Btw, like Mel said, no matter what Brayden is still a cutie!

I'm really sorry they are blurry ((((((((hugs))))))))) I would go back they should have know they were blurry and you should have never had that happen. They are digital and they can view them in there screen so this should have NEVER happened in the first place
I did not see the second one at wallmart when I posted my first response I would still go and make the first one at least refund my money.

12-02-2007, 06:24 PM #7When we first reviewed them on the computer they were so small it was hard for me to tell they were out of focus. But THEY should have seen it. And come to find out, they have been having problems with their camera stand & several of the pics came out blurry! You would think they would dbl check their pictures b4 selling them! And yes, I will definatly get my money back. It cost $30 for the cd! What a rip!

Despite the Santa fiasco, B. is still a doll. I love his little outfit! The fact that he is crying in the 2nd picture is so typical of the stage. You should frame his Santa picture and put it out every year with the Christmas decorations. We have a 5x7 Santa picture with my son, Brennan, from each Christmas. When my DH returns, we're taking both he and Ansley to have their picture made (A. has separation anxiety, so she'll probably be crying as well or I'll have to be in the picture with them). It's fun to look back at previous years when you pull them out of the box to display them for the Holidays.
