My sweet pea is exactly 8 months old today (Tuesday, March 6 - Tuesday, November 6). WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!! She is already 2/3 the way through her first year.I can't believe it. Just seems like it was a year ago that we were painting/decorating the nursery.
Okay, I'll stop being nostalgic, LOL. Here's a quick update at 8 months:
As of a couple days ago, MG is 16 lbs. 11 ounces, and 26 inches (+/-);
she is ahead in motor skills and doing great;
however she is still NOT babbling (though she did babble a couple times as she was crying herself to sleep yesterday and this morning -- does that count?? LOL);
still eating 2nd foods but is also starting some table foods (breads, baked potato, etc.); has tried 3rd foods but not crazy about them for some reason -- they certainly aren't too "thick";
she's still a "gummy" (though we think a bottom tooth may be coming in);
her new favorite toy is the doorstop behind her bedroom door -- she plays peek-a-boo with it and will sit there FOREVER vibrating it -- it's too cute!![]()

Sounds like she is doing great !!!!! Her birthday pal Emily is 17 lbs and 25 inches and a gummy still too
She has a sinus and ear infection right now but you would never know if her nose was not running. She is such a happy baby
She is crawling and babbling she says ma ma and da da. I can't belive how big our girls are getting.

Sounds like she is doing great. I wouldn't worry about the babbling yet either. Especially since she is ahead in motor skills. It is crazy how fast time is going.

Great update Lab! Jason at 8.5 months is still not babbling at all either. His brother was early with language and on-time to slightly late with motor, so I'm thinking Jason will just be the other way around. Molly sounds just perfect!! Isn't it so funny how you spend all that money on baby toys and then they find things like doorstops to be their favorites!

Can you believe our babes are getting so big.
Dylan is babbling and calling dad dada or daddy and me mamama or mama and always talking to his toys. He doesn't crawl yet so it evens out I think.Me (Gwen)
