I probably got through 10-12 per day. I usually just change her once an hour (unless its #2 which gets done immediately). I am a little obsessive, I think I would not want to sit in a wet diaper.

I must be a bad momma!! I only change him when the diaper looks saggy or he has a bm. I am kinda crazy about wasting diapers and landfill overuse and stuff like that. I am sure if he had a diaper rash or was uncomfortable, I would change him more often.

    hmmm...no clue.
But that did bring me back to when Brayden was first born. I remember we kept data on his feedings & diaper changes for a month. I developed and excel spreadsheet & everything

I must be a bad mamma too. Molly's day consists of about 12 hours and I'd say we average about 6-8 diapers a day. I use Pampers swaddlers and they are very good about holding/soaking up the pee to where the diaper stays DRY -- which is why I spend the extra $ on them. Of course, now that she's starting solids, the # of diapers may increase with BM's - oh joy!

I am more in the range of 6.....is that not enough. I dont change him from 7-7 so that leaves 12 hours. WIth BM's and changes around nap times....and before bed and wake up so maybe even 5.....6

    I am a bad mother!!!!!LOL

I change my DD IMMEDIATELY, sometime I even stop her mid poop and she goes twice, but I would hat ethat feeling, so I am compulsive - I go through about 8-10.

I would say I average about 6 too since I don't change her at night at all. Of course when she has a BM then that number goes up. That means she has the same diaper on for only like 3 hours which I think is fine. I also use the Pampers Swaddlers. She has never had a rash or anything and I don't even use diaper cream.

I think we use about 6-8 (per baby) a day.

I change them before each feed, after a bath, if there's a BM or if obviously puffy (a lot of them coincide, sometimes I change a BM, straight into the bath and then feed).
DH is a little more obsessive than me. He will change nappy if one of them is a little crabby, and triumphantly show me a tiny wet patch on the nappy... "you see? Of course he was complaining - how would you like to sit in that?"

I only stopped the excel sheet when they started with the childminder last week - her idea of keeping a record was "oh, they both ate at about 8am, then at 11 and just now, and they pretty much finished the bottle each time, just left a bit". It grates like nails on a blackboard to me and I just couldn't bring myself to put rough times and quantities in my chart, so I stopped altogether. I think I have a full 5 months' worth of archives, though.
