emotional with results...
Just got a call today from my doc...DH's SA results in although she hasnt sent me the actual numbers yet, I should get those tomorrow. But on the phone stated that the morphology was abnormal. Of course I did as much google searching I could & didnt really get a whole lot of info. I cant stop crying, I think its just all hitting me.....Her recommendations was to go see an RE, which I totally have not wanted to do. She told the RE a little bit about our situation thus far (me off pill since may 08, using opk's, did 1 round of clomid). He seemed to think our best bet was to do IUI. Now this is all so much to digest & take in....I just was telling my best friend I hoped we would never have to go that route. DH is pretty much completely against all of that. He is just one of those "whatever is meant to happen will happen"....so just feeling down, and needing to vent. I wish I knew more people who had issues with low morphology and to see if there are any chances of something natural happening, I'm off to search a little more...thanks for listening

jeni, sorry to hear about your results! When my dh's numbers came back low I was crying my eyes out, too. The whole issue is really emotional for me, I always have to cry hard when I get new news (and every time I get BFN). Our RE has been great, maybe sitting down with the doc and your DH and explaining the process to him will help. I wish you the best! This forum is a great place to vent and know that someone else is sharing your experiences.

Jeni, I so know how you feel girl. But I am here to bring you some hope! 7 years ago my dh and I decided to go to the DR to see why we didn't get preg. After a few cycles of clomid and no luck the Dr decided to do an S/A on DH and a DNA Frag test. The results: Devestaing...he told us the S/A was so poor the morphology so bad and the DNA Frag was even worse that we would NEVER have biological children together. He also said he would not recommend us wasting our money on an RE and that the best route for us would be donor sperm. We were against this idea, my husband held on to the belief that there will be something in the future that could benefit us. Well needless to tell you the pain that engulfed me for years over this. I do not even know how to begin to tell anyone how that feels. But we decided recently to go see an RE and discuss ICSI. We were now at a place where we had the money and insurance to make it work. Anyway we were in the RE office all day discussing options when they came in with the S/A my DH took earlier in the day. The RE was amazed......everything came back better than normal....even the morphology and count. He asked what did we do different. There was nothing. Of course we were floored with happiness because now we have a chance at concieving a child without having to do ICSI (btw I have pcos also) so we are now in our 1st clomid cycle. I guess the point of my story is, things can change...there are more options now....but don't do like we did and think its all over just because one DR said so. I can't get back the 7 years that went by because we didn't get a second opinion and that hurts. But please don't give up. If things turned around for us....it can for anyone....

Thank you both so much....reading your posts really made me feel more positive about it all. Besides just his fish oil daily, I have DH taking a Men's One a day + L-Carnitine (which I read is suppose to help those sperm) now. I'm planning to repeat another SA maybe in January and going from there. I'm still going to do my 2nd & 3rd rounds of Clomid in Nov/Dec. and will go from there. At this point, I'm feeling ok but thank you again

Can I suggest that you try an NFS certified vitamin.
NSF International Here is also a good lifestyles page taht can be referenced. Center for Male Reproductive Medicine and Microsurgery Just my 2 cents.
