sperm count goes from 59 million to 4.5 mill post wash? is this male factor?

is a bfp possible with these numbers..?

yesterday my dh had his lowest count ever , with 4.5 million tms post wash. BEFORE teh wash it was 59 million., 60% motility. motility was slightly better post wash, about 65% ..

why would he loose sooo much in the wash? i wash always told his sperm is average, but this seems pretty bad. could it be a poor lab? i'm confused about this.

i'm not sure what these numbers say, any thoughts?

i triggered with 4-6 follies 18-24mm, e2 around 1200. ( i'm 38).

iuis are so hard, every month its something that doesnt go right..

I think all you need is 1 sperm. I don't recall about prewash/postwash numbers - our IVFs were done in 2002 and 2003, but I suppose it is a variation of normal or maybe even normal for this to happen.
