DH saw his urologist and the urologist said that he will do the ultrasound on the 16th, and he also is referring him to RE... The good news is, he thinks that with DH's hormone levels, it may be correctable with medication. "MAY BE" being the operative word. He says that we will see what we see on the ultrasound

So it's more waiting..

I think the waiting in between appointments is just so awful.. I just wish that someone could wave a magic wand and have everything done and over with in 5 minutes.. but then again I'm super impatient

I really hate waiting for appointments. My Dh has his follow up appt with the urologist on the 29th....He has already had 2 SA's, blood work, and ultrasound. I hope that we find out that my DH can be corrected with medication. Keep me updated...

Oh Yeah FYI:: The ultrasound is a little bit weird...I was there with my DH and The ultrasound tech was a guy so can we say uncomfortable...(the tech doesn't know anything about the diagnosis...the urologist has to look at the pics)

Well.. The ultrasound came back normal... Funny story related to that: they wouldn't let me go back with him, and this HUGE guy comes out to get him. Needless to say, DH was a little scared.. OF course it didn't help that he thought the u/s was where they stick a probe in both holes

I tried to tell him it wasn't like that and that worst case it would be rectal but not penile.. He didn't believe me. So he was freaking out.. Especially when this guy comes to get him.. He came out less than 20 minutes later and looked so relieved (although he admitted later that he is tired of men messing with his boy parts)..

We finally got everything situated with the referral (a simple process that only miltiary providers can screw up

to RE. We have to fill out some information and they call us tomorrow with the initial consult day/time!

I don't know how things work there but make sure that you get a follow up appt with the urologist. The ultrasound tech told us that everything looked good but the RE told us we should have followed up with the urologist because there were some issues. so we have our follow up appt on monday.

I am glad the results were good. (pink has a good point; I just assumed the results were final from the urologist and not preliminary from the radiologist)

My insurance costs quite a bit more I suspect, but I don't need referrals!

Recently I've been tired of everybody (man or woman) messing with my girl parts. In front of my DH many times. Not that we mind, but when I think about it --- no thinking.

That would behoove your DH too: no thinking.
