7 million post wash with IUI
Hi ladies,
We did 2 IUI's this cycle (Sat and Sun). Day 1 was 4.5 million and day 2 was 2.5 million. I have 6 mature follicles and my e2 is 1608, so my follicles were definitely good. We have 4 RE's at our clinic and they all say different things. I've heard anything above 5 million is ok, but above 10 million is best. Does anyone have any information to share with me - I am trying not to obsess about things with DH, but would really like more information. Thanks. Joey

Hi Joey S
It seems that you have pretty good numbers for everything. Just remember it can happen!!!! I know when you hear that you say sure. I was the same. We have severe Male Inf. My DH numbers were so low due to varc.. We had 6 IUI's with clomid and the last one I used Follistum. Our numbers were no where near the millions. We had about 10 thousand most times. They say over 5 million is good at our doctors. The last time we tried the IUI, we had gone in there and only had 1 thousand good sperm after wash. I chalked it up to "No chance this time", but 2 weeks later we found out it worked. We have a 16 month DD now. So don't give up!!!! |
