Personal experiences with increased morphology????

Hi,
DH are ttc #2 with IUI in June....we conceived our son 3 1/2 yrs ago with IUI....then his semen # were 1.7 and 1.8 prewash and 6.7 and 7 mil postwash....we did 2 IUIs in 1 cycle and conceived the 1st month....we weren't given the motility or morphology then....
We now live in another state....had a consult 3 weeks ago and SA was done on my hubby...very specific....
count was 7mil (no washing)
motility 49%
morph. 1% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we have no idea what the morph. was like when we concieved our son...but we DO know that on his own dh's count went up and that was just one sample....

So my question is ....with personal experiences and NUMBERS or %...what helped you INCREASE morph.???? I have read several different recommendations for vitamins....but I would like to see your changes in numbers if possible....
I started dh on vit c, vit. E, selenium, zinc, and arginine-L.....going to get Carnitine today.....what do you all think of this....
GAchick...

Hi... I have my dh on it for some time now... it helps low morphology... which is irregular shaped sperm... he went from 1% to 5 % on the strict Krugar test...now is morphology is in normal range... still on the low side, but considered in normal range... I thank the Pycnogenol for the improvement... the nurse was even shocked with his last SA... and aked us what we were doing different... I swear by it... I'm not sure of the effects on other forms on IF... wishing you all the best!!!

Pycnogenol?

Read a few stories on how pycnogenol improved one's morphology issue. Quite motivating.
My DH has a 2% morph issue (kruger test) .

can somebody suggest a good website to by this? And how much mg's should one consume? 100mg or 200 mg. kind of confused!

Baby dust to us all!

Hello Lovebabies3

We buy DH pycnogenol at GNC. He takes 200mg per day. Dr. Scott Roseff, an RE has been recommending and has a lot of success with pycnogenol.

Just so you are aware the theraputic dose for L-Carnitine is 1 - 3grams (1000 - 3000mg). You may still see results with 500mg (1/2g), but just thought you'd like to know. Also, make sure your DH takes it with food, and is aware that L-Carnitine can cause body odor in some men (side effect).

My DH just started taking it and has a morphology of 4% strict kruger.

I'm really glad I found this site. It has been very helpful.
