Hi ladies.
I have never shown anyone my babies pictures because they were all deceased for some time by the time the photos were taken...but I have a dear friend visiting this weekend and she asked if I would share my babies with her~through talking about them. She also asked if I woudl show her their photos, to which I got really nervous. She said, "It's okay, you don't have to. Could you show me the clothes they wore, their footprints, and other memorabilia you have instead? I just want to feel close to them"
So, I took out their photos, and showed her my memory boxes. Then for some reason, I just decided to show her their photos. I was afriad to look at her, so I kept my head down at the photos. She didn't say anything for a while, so I eventually looked up and she was crying. She said "Oh April, they are so beautiful. They are not at all what I imagined~they are tiny, perfect babies and they are absolutely beautiful. Thank you so much" To which I started crying, too.
It was really nice to share them with someone who appreciates them, who could see beyond the brusing/blackness and see them as I see them~perfect babies who were born too soon.
I am so glad I shared the photos and my babies with her...

You are so very lucky! My Mom looked at Claire's pics in the hospital, but she didnt say anything! But in hindsight....that was probably the best thing she could have said! I know my Mom...and she doesnt always say the most comforting things, in these situations!
I'm sure they are beautiful....
