    The good and the bad so far.

    The good news is dh has 4 good solid leads on potential jobs. That's just from contacting people this morning.

    The bad news is his boss is turned into and even bigge a$$ then we thought possible. They have refused to pay him for his 13 days of unused vacation, state law says they have the right since dh wasn't under a written contract. They are insisting he come in and go over his files from his jobs that he is running or they will fight his unemployment benefits and say that they had just cause to fire him.
    I'm so angry that they can treat him this way, it just sucks all around.

    Good for him on the leads - that's great news!

    But, what makes your situation even tougher (IMHO) is that his current/previous employer may not give him a good recommendation. If they're being such a$$es right now (insisting he come in when he's already been fired, preparing to fight his unemployment benefits, etc.) I can't imagine that they'd give him a "rosey" referral for a new position... Jeez, like they haven't done enough damage already!!
