Yah! Did anyone do something to mark the day? The big kids talked about it with their classes. I thought that was neat for them to share. Unfortunately most of the kids didn't know what my children were referring to. But I'm glad we could make them aware there is such a day.

That's great Nette! I didnt do anything special today, although my carbon footprint was fairly small since I didnt travel far from home I just continue to reduce (buying only what we need), reuse (buying used clothing, toys and books for dd) and recycle (our recycle can is much bigger than our regular trash can).

I did talk with the twins today (well yesterday) about wasting food. My MIL is sooooooo wasteful and I swear if they don't want to finish eating something she just has them go throw it in the trash. I can't stand it. Anyways, we talked about it and how we need to save it for later if we don't want it then. Anyways, it is a start for almost 3 year olds!
