LOVE the butterfly dress. Too cute! Thanks for sharing the pics. Looks like she had a ball. Just curious, because all I have experience with so far is a first birthday, but how much more "in to it" are they for the second birthday? Did she know it was her birthday? Andrew could not have possibly cared less about his birthday, it was just another day and I ended up being the one to open his gifts.

Beth - she was much more into it this year. I don't think she gets the concept of birthdays, but when we sang to her (and later open gifts) - she knew it was all about her
She was into it and had a great time too. I am pretty sure 95% of the people present would have gladly taken her home with them 
She got a lil tired but was still in a great mood seeing everyone off - luckily all guests were gone by 4pm and she was out for a late nap by 4:45. Then last night she found more gifts (from us and ones that came in the mail) and she opened those as well. So overall a great day ... and we have seen a big development spurt as if right on cue! She is much more particpatory in everything we do. Tonight Dh was shaking the comforter to spread out the down feathers and KS grabbed a corner and started shaking, then moved down and did it again! And today in Spanish class she was acting out all parts of the songs - so cute....
Married almost 9 years, together 11 years

B C 4/29/06 at 34w3d (over 7 yrs of ttc, 3 IUI's, & 1 IVF)
H 2/25/08 (our miracle) hospital BR for 9wks & home BR for 2wks due to IUGR & PROM at 26 wks...we made it to 37wks! 5lb.2oz. 17in.
