How did you meet? I have known John since I was 16, I went to high school with his cousins and we were close friends. John and I were on a hello basis for many years until about 8 years ago when we ran into each other at a bar and hung out and made out (haha). It took another 2 years for us to get together and for him to see the light - haha. I knew from that night on that he was the one --we got together right after Sept 11 - my roommate lost her brother in the towers and John went out of his way to be there for us.

When did you get married?We got engaged Memorial Day 2003, got married Memorial Day 2004 and will celebrate 2 yrs this May. We had the wedding of our dreams - got married outside on the river with 250 of our closest friends, married by my former youth minister. It was a beautiful day and I had a great time. I watch the video alot b/c I don't remember alot of my wedding day - I was still recovering from a car accident and didn't have my total memory back. I hear everyone had a terrific time (haha) and I wouldn't change a thing.

Where do you live: Merchantville, NJ (small suburb 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia)

Describe your house/ apt/ condo? We bought an old house (85 years old) that has alot of character and needed some work. It is a brick dutch colonial on a double lot on a tree lined street. We have done alot of cosmetic work - waiting to do the kitchen but IF comes first. My sister lives down the street so I see my neices almost everyday.

What do you do for a living? I used to be a training consultant for the pharmaceutical industry. I traveled all over the country doing training seminars. I haven't worked since my car accident 2.5 years ago - started a small home based business and debating going back into training.

What does DH do for a living?He is a community affairs analyst.

TTC history, diagnosis, children? etc - TTC for 2.5 years. First miscarriage - July 04 - surprize after honeymoon. 2nd miscarriage - Oct 2005. Dx - failure to ovulate. Did clomid for 6 months on and off from April - Oct 2005 . Clomid with IUI - July 05 and Sept 05. HSG - June 2005. Lap surgery - Nov 2005. IUI with Follistims - Jan 2006 - BFN(trigger failed). Benched due to cysts - Feb 06, Lupron - Feb - March 06, 2nd IUI with Follistim/Trigger - Late March 2006. I have diabetes and hypothyroidism - DH is fine.

How did you meet/how long married? We met on the computer. We also got our dog that way and found Kiona that way - to us, it's family building in the 21st Century!

When did you get married? We ran off to Reno on 12/21/01 (shhhhhh) and then got married in a park in front of friends and family on 12/22/02. It had rained non-stop for weeks but our day was gorgeous! It was very casual (I wore a batik dress, he wore a Guatemalan shirt, our pastor friend wore a hawiian shirt with a collar), all our friends and family stood in a large circle around us, then a friend manned the BBQ for our reception at the local police clubhouse (and firing range)! It was so us!

Where did you honeymoon? engaged in Maui, honeymoon on the Lost Coast of Calif

Describe your house/ apt/ condo? It's two levels with livingroom, kitchen, ofc, vanity, balcony overlooking a lake on the top floor and master bedroom, baby's room (soon to be converted from the guest room), yoga room, laundry, two baths, atrium on the bottom floor.

TTC history, diagnosis, children? etc ttc #1 for a few years, PCOS, X-linked disease, 6 IUIs with sex selection, 3 starts and stops of IVF with sex selection, PGD - never got past the second follie check ("poor responder"). Decided to put our remaining funds and sanity into adoption - best gift ever!

How did you meet? I feel like I've known him forever. We met back in 1993 at our b/f's (Pam & Jeff) Christmas Party. He and Jeff had been friends for 16 years at that time (so like 30 years now?) anyway I had just met Pam a year before. We were friends (yes dated other people) for about 5 years. I won a trip to Jamaica in 1998, that was it. We were smitten with each other.

When did you get married? We got engaged Aug of 1999...(my b-day!) We were married September 23, 2000. Which worked out great it also happened to be my dad's 60th b-day! All of our friends and family were there....minus DH's parents they are both deceased, but we had a picture of them on the alter. It POURED rain the night before, and the next day was overcast, and everything was WET!! We got a few outdoor shots, but nothing like I wanted. Funny, but I didn't even care! We partied the night away!

Where did you honeymoon? 10 glorious days in St. Lucia!!!

Describe your house/ apt/ condo? I moved in with DH. 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath Ranch. We did some updating, but I'm afraid it needs quite a bit more....I was going to hire EM!!!

TTC history, diagnosis, children? etc - I have PCOS, TTC 5.5 years..2 m/c...DH tends to have slight motility problems, off and on.

When/ long married? Alan & I met in Dec. 02, we were engaged in June 03 and married Oct. 03. We have been married 2 yr 5 mths. We got married in the house that we are in now, Alan made the most beautiful wedding cake.

Where did you honeymoon? We drove to San Antonio and stayed several days and we flew from there to Las Vegas.

Describe your house/ apt/ condo? The house that I am currently in is 1 1/2 stories Acadiana style home. My home has an open floor plan with 4 bedrooms, office, 4 full size baths, game room, Alan's shop and a swimming pool. We are building b/c the house is to big for us.
What do you do for a living? I was a loan officer for years at a large bank and when Alan swept me off my feet he did not want me to work so I "retired". I miss it greatly but I do love my free time.

What does DH do for a living? He and my FIL have a residential/commercial const company.

TTC history, diagnosis, children? etc - I have one stepson that is the sweetest man, he is 21 and he lives in a little apt thing that we built for him on the property where we are building. My journey is short, I have never seen an RE my OBGYN told me that I have a luteal phase defect and I took prometrium for 3 mths and nothing. My ob wanted me to see an RE and I did make the appt but cancelled it when all this house stuff started, well it was more like 10/06. My newest thing is that I bought GNC's Fertility Blend and I thought I would give it a whirl.

Favorite Websites? Ft of course, HGTV, and these days it has been home depot, lowes, etc...lol

When/ long married? Met October 1996....first date on Nov 12, 1996....engaged on January 5, 1997! Just 7 weeks. Married on January 24, 1998, so going on 8.5 yrs.

Where did you honeymoon? What's that? We took 3 days and went to Ocean City, MD...but in the middle of the winter, there wasn't anything open. It was a gift from a friend.

Where do you live: Central Connecticut...but hoping for Charlotte, NC in a few months!

Describe your house/ apt/ condo? We have a 1910 2-story, colonial. 3 bd, 1.5 bath

What do you do for a living? Right now....SAHM. But I had been working on my Master's in Elementary Education when I got pg. I was 9 weeks with the kids when I graduated.

What does DH do for a living? Federal Gov't...that's all I can say....or else!

TTC history, diagnosis, children? My beautiful kids, Nicholas and Caeden, are going to be 4 in August. Conceived with Follistim and IUI. I am PCOS, took mega doses of Clomid before moving on to injections. Currently ttc #3....on Metformin to induce ovulation...but it isn't working

TTC history, diagnosis, children? etc -
We have been ttc actively for about 3.5 years. My diagnosis is unexplained...I have irregular periods and rarely ovulate. We have done 2 IUI's and I got pg off the first one, but m/c. The 2nd was a BFN. Outside of that I have gotten pg 2 X's prior....both on clomid alone but m/c very early in all 3 pgcy. We have just completed a FET on 3/16 and got my first beta on 3/29 - BFP 440

TTC history, diagnosis, children? etc - WELL, I have been/had been ttc for about 6 years or so... I was married previously and we had really bad communication about it all really. My dh and I did 3 IUI's and then did IVF and it was successfull! We feel very blessed. Anyways, we are having twins soon! We don't know the gender...we want a surprise!

How did you meet: I got my first job when I was 21 at 7-11. I was a really bad cashier cause I was so nervous, so the manager sent to me help re-organize other stores. Dh had been re-organizing the other stores for a while, so I met him there, at a 7-11. I thought he was cute right off. After a week, he asked me "what did you say your boyfriend's name was?" I never mentioned a boyfriend, so I knew he was interested.

When/ long married? January 29, 2000, the week of the biggest snow storm we had in this area in 20 yrs

Where did you honeymoon? We went to DisneyWorld. Neither of us had ever been there.

Describe your house/ apt/ condo? It's old but not vintage...and its ours. It has 3 bedrooms, living room, dining room, den. It needs a lot of work, but i've enjoyed painting the rooms.

TTC history, diagnosis, children? This is kinda long. I went off the pills a few months before we got married. The doctor told me that I would have a hard time getting pg, so I went back to school and got my teaching degree. Right after I got my degree, I got a teaching job. Found out i was pg in November and I thought it all worked out the way it should. BUT, I mc'd within the week. First year of teaching was so stressful, that I stopped thinking about having a baby until I got pg the very next year in Nov. Within a week, I was told I mc'd again. This one lasted longer though. I didn't mc on my own and had to have a d & c later that month. Then the doc went through all the testing to see why I was mc'ing and the only thing he found was that I dont ovulate regularly, so he put me on clomid and I got pg on my first dose in may 05. And I mc'd a little over a week after I found out I was pg. I had another d & c. I was extremely depressed over the summer. I finally decided to try clomid again in Nov 05 and got pg. I'm now 19wks pg.
