I would like a home birth sooo much and am seriously considering switching over. The main thing that is keeping me is that with all the fertility treatments and miscarriages, my OB has been with me so I am afraid of dropping her because she has been so good to me.

I just spoke with my dr. on Thursday and we were discussing birth options. I told her I wanted a natural birth - no drugs (especially pitocin) and that I have also thought of water births. She mentioned that the hospital I will be delivering at does not have tubs or allow for that type of birth. I mentioned something about a home birth because I have a huge tub, and she advised that since this was my first pregnancy and I tried so hard to have this baby (ivf/fet cycles), that a home birth is not recommended. She said wait till the second baby comes along
