Jen, good luck on your cycle and don't forget to take that Femara!
Winklehawk are you still taking the progesterone? It's probably not a bad idea until you can test. Let us know!
Hope everyone has a safe and fun Memorial Day!

jenisuzy - Hope this is your cycle!
AFM - I stopped taking the progesterone on Sat. I felt a little crampy yesterday so I expect AF to arrive today or tomorrow. I'll go ahead and test tomorrow morning, if I remember, b/c my RE won't let me start a new cycle until I've had a negative HPT. I have a 5 hour drive to look forward to this afternoon.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

Hope you had a safe drive winklehawk! We had some nasty storms here. Did you test? It is hard to be away from home at that time in your cycle.

How's everyone's week going?? I'm glad its Wednesday already
Love those 3 day w/e's! Today is CD 5 for me, no issues taking Femara at all (I didnt experience any side effects last month either). I will probably start using my OPK's on Sunday. I O'ed a lot earlier on Femara than Clomid, hopefully that will be the same case again this month! Did AF show for you Winklehawk? What's your plan for this new cycle? Hoping & praying this will be it for us and we can have little Shamrock March Babies !

Well, BFN on my test when I finally got one that worked. I'm still waiting for AF. I don't understand how it can be so late when I trigger with Ovidrel. I'm now 19 dpiui and still waiting. I'm beginning to think there is something wrong with me.

What day did you test? Sometimes stress, or just when I have a lot going on, can affect my cycle. Sometimes AF can just be difficult that way.

Hello Ladies!
I hope you all are having a nice weekend!
Did AF come for you Winklehawk? So true that stress can effect your cycle.
Jen - I will be thinking of you and praying that this is your month!!
AFM - DH and I traveled to Raleigh yesterday for his post-op. The doc said that things look great and he started DH on Clomid. We have been hearing more and more stories about couples get pg shortly after varicocele repair. I am hoping to be one of those couples soon!
I am heading to a baby shower today for a great friend who was married 3 months after me. We were "trying" together until she became pg in November. It was incredibly hard at first. She is highly sensitive towards me though and prays for me daily. I would honestly rather go to the dentist than this shower but keep reminding myself that one day it will be my turn and all of these ladies will be there for me.
Hope you all have a great week ahead and I look forward to hearing about your cycles! ++++ thoughts!!!

Lilly - So glad to hear DH's post-op went well. Hope you make it through the baby shower today with relative ease. Hope your BFP is just around the corner!!
AFM - AF finally arrived. Now I'm CD3. The RE's nurse returned my message yesterday with a message. I can start Femara today if AF is normal. What does that mean? I have PCOS so most of my life AF comes 3, 6, 9 months apart. This cycle was only 30 days. For me, it is rather light. Is it "normal", beats the heck out of me. Trying to decide if I should start the Femara or not. This would have to happen on the weekend.Last edited by winklehawk; 06-05-2010 at 09:43 AM.

Hello !
Hope you all are enjoying the w/e....DH & I have been busy, we went out to lunch yesterday with some friends and then had a play to go to last night. It was a musical called " breaking up is hard to do", omg, it was GREAT
There is a small local theatre that we got season tix to, and its really always a nice evening out. Today we are going to be roasting outside, my DH is a big bicylclist and he has a race today, 3hrs long. I'm hoping there will be some shade b/c its suppose to be mid 90s & SUNNY. I've got my sunscreen packed! Its exciting to watch him though and that is a huge part of his life. (also another reason I really think his little swimmers arent all that great!)
Winklehawk ~ did you decide to go ahead and take the Femara then? "Normal" is just not a great term to use b/c it varies so much from person to person !?!? What kind of monitoring & additional meds will you do this cycle ? I really hope this is it for you !!!
Lilly~ I hope the shower wasnt as awful as anticipated......one of my close friends now accidentally got preggo around the same time as your friend & I will be throwing her a shower in the next month or two. Its extra difficult b/c she said she never ever wanted kids and ended up "oops", getting preggo by her long-distance boyfriend (they only see each other about once a month so go figure she WOULD get a bfp)
Grrrr, I see her on a daily basis and hear all about pregnancy on a daily basis. At times I'm gritting my teeth and sick to my stomach, putting on a pretend happy face, I know I shouldnt be like that though ...
AFM ~ I was going to start using my OPK's this morning, CD9, but didnt. So maybe tomorrow. I O'ed on CD 13 last cycle (my 1st cycle on femara) so I'm hoping it will be around the same CD this month. DH & I will be staying occupied a few nights this week with hopes of catching that egg
