BFN this morning at 14 dpiui. Now the wait for AF begins. I left a vm at the RE's office today to figure out the protocol for next month. I imagine the meds will be the same, but I need to know if they need to see me next week or not so I can make travel arrangements for work. I guess the BFN means I can have a Diet Coke for lunch today. I can go back to not drinking soda tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!

I'm so sorry Winklehawk. I know you must be disappointed.
You seem to have a positive attitude today though which is great. It's just another step in the process and one step closer to realizing your dream!
I LOVE Diet Coke!! I am on a new diet to get ready for bathing suit season that doesn't allow for soda - it has NOT been easy!!
Have a wonderful weekend and know that the journey will start again on Monday.

Hi all! AF still hadn't started yet this morning so I POAS again. BFP! Now I'm freaking out b/c I have been off progesterone for 5 days. I started it again this morning. I brought the HPT and progesterone with me this week, just in case. I'll be calling the RE as soon as their office opens. I need to find out if I should try to catch a flight home tomorrow or if a Fri appt is fine. I'm hoping for the best.

Well, I got to be happy for a day and half. The nurse just called and my beta was only 35 at 20 dpiui. Looks like this one wasn't meant to be either. The nurse is worried about an ectopic and now I am too especially since I am traveling next week. My progesterone level was fine though.

I am so very sorry!!! Big, big :hugs: Are you having any discomfort? What is their plan?
I've had an ectopic as well as early losses, so if I can help or just lend an ear, please let me know.
Take care of yourself and post an update when you can.

It doesn't sound to me like they think there is anything they can do. I'll go back in Monday morning for another beta. I had a m/c in Nov so I know the symptoms of that. Is there anything specific I should watch out for with an ectopic? I have to admit I'm a little terrified of being on a plane with a potential ectopic. Any advice you can give would be greatly appreciated.

I was a little further along when I had my ectopic. I think my beta was almost 6000; the numbers had been doing fine but I went for the first u/s and there was nothing there. Then the numbers really stopped doubling. I had a lot of pain in my side. No spotting but that can happen. I also got lightheaded when my blood pressure dropped. The biggest thing was the pain. Is the office open on the weekend? I was wondering if they could check your beta level sooner. The progression of the numbers can tell you a lot. I needed to do methotrexate to resolve the ectopic so luckily didn't lose the tube. I'm so sorry you are going through this.

I was reading this post and Lilys situation reminds me of mine, I also just found out some things and I am going it through it mostly alone, a lot of ppl dont understand and my family is not very helpful. I really like the support that all of you give one another and just wanted to mention that and with you all the best of luck in your journeys!!
