ohiogrl..Go ahead & uncross your fingers, its game over for me this cycle..another major drop in temp today plus had some spotting after BD last night so. I contemplated calling the doc today but will wait till the 1st real "flow" day & go from there. Did you take your 1st day of Clomid this am or waiting till tonight ?? Is your doc doing any specific monitoring with you this 2nd round, I forget! Catch up again soon I'm sure

Yipppeee for no headaches !! Glad to hear your 2nd round is going good. I am still waiting for AF to show in full force. Continue with that pre-AF brown spotting as always......was hoping DH would do his SA yesterday but maybe next week instead. I'd really like to get that out of the way this month since I'm pretty certain I will not do Clomid this month (the timing is bad, DH has to travel lots the last 2wks of the month). I dont want to "waste" a round of Clomid since I think my doc will only do a total of 3 rounds for me. So....thats about all for now. I still plan on calling my doc when AF does show just to give her the update. Hope you have a good weekend, the weather has cooled off here a bit & I love it !!!

Update

I'm feeling good and hoping for positives this round

I bought an OPK with about 20 sticks and started testing this morning. They're not as fancy as the ones that come in the packs of 5-7 but they are alright and lots cheaper too.

I'll post again when I surge... bye for now!!

Have fun with all your OPK's !!! I actually look forward to that time of the month, seeing when the + comes Its the 2WW which seems to drag forever but here is to round 2 of Clomid working for you !!! Did you have any side effects this time around ? I'm taking the month off from it but will resume again in November. Doc said she wants to also do a 7DPO progesterone check with that cycle. Kinda glad to just be sort of relaxed about things this month. Keep me posted on you !

Hi Ladies,
I'm new to this thread. I did my first round of Clomid this month -- I definitely got hot flashes and have felt some weird twinges, but that's it. Today I went to the Dr's office today for ultrasound; he saw 3 follicles. Is that good? (I have no idea.) Anyway, he said he's going to put me on progesterone in a few days. Meanwhile, I'll be doing the OPK thing and looking forward to O day. The only thing I worry about is that he said my uterine lining is a bit thin so he didn't want me to do the injection to stimulate ovulation, but just wait and let my body do it itself so it can "estrogenate" and hopefully thicken the lining.

I'm excited to find this thread and hoping it works out! I wish you all luck this cycle too!

-Heather

Hello and welcome Heather!

I am so sorry about your previous losses. I am happy to see, though, that you've either seen a reproductive immunologist or have an RE who is very experienced with RI. We do have an immune issues board too, if you haven't visited there yet.

Clomid can actually thin your uterine lining so what you're experiencing isn't unusual. 3 follicles is good. What cd are you? Did they tell you how big the follies are?

for your cycle!
